The hotel is well located, just 5 minutes from Asahikawa Station. The staff were very friendly throughout. There are some nice extras like a simple breakfast and night-time noodles. The facilities like laundry machines were easy to use. There were enough power outlets in the room to use.
The worst part for me was the window blinds. The window is very small, but the blind had a lot of gaps in it so sunlight comes into the room at sunrise (which was 4:30 am in August...). I had to hang the top bunk blanket down like a tent to block the light.
The bedroom layout was a bit awkward, there's not enough space for 2 people to relax without being on the bunk beds.

Great location, very close to the station. Staff were friendly and always willing to help. Lots of free amenities — drinks, amenity goods, etc. Loved having a private room rather than a shared dorm setup.
The room had poor ventilation and felt quite dark even during the day. The laundry machines take over 2 hours if you want to wash and dry, and cost ¥600 which feels steep. If you skip the dryer cycle, clothes come out soaking wet with no spin dry — you have to wring them out by hand.
