Welcome to The Gathering Place, a spacious lodge in Island Park, Idaho designed for exactly what the name suggests — bringing people together.
Located about 40–45 minutes from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, this large cabin is a perfect home base for family reunions, multi-family vacations, fishing trips, snowmobile adventures, and Yellowstone exploring.
With 6 bedrooms and space for up to 26 guests, there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out while still enjoying time together. The large kitchen and dining areas make it easy to cook meals for a crowd, share stories from the day’s adventures, and plan tomorrow’s Yellowstone outing.
After a long day exploring the park, fishing the famous Henry’s Fork, or riding the nearby ATV and snowmobile trails, come back and relax. Soak in the hot tub under Idaho’s wide starry sky, play a game of pool in the game room, or gather around the fire pit outside.

This property was perfect for our group. Everyone had their own space and the living areas were large enough to accommodate us all when it was raining outside and we all had to be inside. We enjoyed the kitchen area, especially when we discovered the folding table in the closet that we could use for an island for prep and serving needs. Having 2 refrigerators for our large group was especially great. Everyone commented on how well they slept (the beds were comfortable). As it rained most everyday we were there we did not spend a lot of time outdoors - except for the hot tub and it was a big hit. We were disappointed that we were not able to have a campfire.Overall this was a very enjoyable stay. Thank you

There were 24 of us that stayed for a week while visiting Yellowstone, the experience was great! The host was very responsive, and the facility was well maintained! Thanks for the wonderful 50th anniversary you helped to give us!

This home is located in a beautiful, peaceful area. It was close to all the thing we wanted to do.

A few hiccups - dishwasher didn’t work and karaoke broken. Andy out of town and repairman couldn’t fix. Good size for our group, but we did not spend a lot of time there.
