We had a great time staying in Costa Rei. The house was basic, clean and functional and suited our needs for a good 'base'. The owner, Elena, was very friendly and welcoming and provided us with some great local information.

We spent a wonderful time in the Villa and at the beach with a perfect sea.
Everything was as described.
The villa is located in a very nice and quite area, is equipped with everything you need, has a great covered terrace and a beautiful garden.
There is no car needed for going to the restaurant, supermarket and - very important for us - to the sea!
We will come back again for sure!!!

This villa was everything (and more) that we have hoped for. I travelled with my boyfriend and arrived with a rental car at the villa where Elena greeted us very nicely and showed us around the house and told us the important things to know about house and region. She was very kind, the whole Email conversation beforehand was quite pleasant and we even got a little welcome present. Also she told us to contacted her during our stay in case we would have needed her help. On our last day she contacted us again to ask if everything was ok. Perfect Hospitality!
The villa containes everything that is needed. There's room enough for up to 8 people to sleep but I wouldn't recommend more than 6, it could get very crowded. The only thing I would wish for the next time would be some toilet paper for the first day, other than that everything was there. It was absolutely clean and we immediately felt comfortable especially since it's decorated very lightly and nicely.
The appartment is located up the hill in a very nice spot surrounded by trees and hedges which makes the villa nicely hidden and you have tons of privacy and a big well-kept garden.
It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach (maybe with little kids, the distance is too long but you can always go by car and park close to the beach, no problem there). The beach is absolutely amazing. It' very long and wide so that even on a crowded day you can find a quiet spot and lots of space to play in the sand. The turquoise ocean is beautiful and the waves are perfect to swim in and play games. We were her at the end of September and the temperature of the water was perfect, I'd say about 25° C.
I would recommend this villa to all my friends and will gladly return in the future.
If you have time, go to the next bigger town, Villasimius, which is a good 15 minutes drive from Costa Rei. Nice town with some shops and restaurants. There's a supermarket (Conad) where the food is cheaper than in the Supermarkets in Costa Rei.
