About this villa rental
Villa Darsia is a splendid and luminous two-story villa surrounded by meadows and by green hills. It sleeps eight people. From Villa Darsia you will enjoy an enchanting view of the surrounding rural area and of the Reatina valley. Villa Darsia is 330 square meters (3550 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private patio, a private garden, winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 5 km (3.1 miles) from Magliano Sabina, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the closest restaurant at 150 meters (490 feet) and a grocery store at 1.5 km (roughly 1 mile).
To stay at Villa Darsia you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge inside the entrance gate. Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 5 meters (16 feet) large by 12 meters (39 feet) long, from 1.20 meter (4 feet) to 1.40 meters (4.6 feet) deep. The area is equipped with sun umbrellas, deck chairs, sun loungers and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy an enchanting view of the surrounding countryside. The pool is open from the beginning of June until the end of September.

The patio is 50 square meters (540 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a roof. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the patio you will enjoy an enchanting view of the garden and of the hills.
Garden
The garden is 600 square meters (6460 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by pine trees and by olive trees and platans. In the garden you will find a barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy an enchanting view of the surrounding countryside.
Ground FloorLiving Room
The living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are warm and elegant. The furnishings include three sofas and armchairs. There is a big fireplace. The dining table can accommodate eight guests. In this room you will find a large satellite television (local channels), a DVD player and a CD player. From the living room you will be able to enter the patio and the garden with a view of the hills through two French doors. The room has two windows with a view of the swimming pool and of the hills.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room. It is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, an Italian-style coffee-maker, a toaster and a kettle. Here you will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. The dining table can accommodate four guests. The kitchen has a window with a view of the garden.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches), that can be pushed together into a matrimonial bed if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). The room has a window which overlooks the characteristic alley below. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.

You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor. The ceiling is sloped and has characteristic exposed wood beams. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window with a view of the countryside. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a bathtub with shower wand and a hairdryer.

The villa is located on a hill ridge with stunning views to the front and rear of the property. The dining terrace and pool both share these amazing views. The villa itself is lovely, a little dated in parts - but we feel this added to the charm.
The location is remote enough to provide peace, but you are in walking distance of a great restaurant that makes the most amazing pizza, pasta, gnocchi, and at ridiculously low prices. This is an area frequented by Italians rather than masses of tourists - so prices are really good, however you do need to make a little more effort with the phrase book.
You are less than an hours drive into central Rome, so you can head to the chaos of Rome for the day before returning to the tranquility of the Magliano Sabina hills!
I would also highlight how amazing the hosts are! We went during Covid19 restrictions, meaning we isolated for the first 5 days. The hosts did all our shopping (at no charge), and arranged all necessary tests at a local pharmacy. Nothing was too much trouble - truly lovely people.
I must say the service and responsiveness of Luca and the team at Summer In Italy has been fantastic!! Due to Covid19 we have had lots more questions and anxieties than we would usually have when travelling. But the Team have always responded really quickly and have always solved our problems or answered our questions. I would certainly use you again!!

The Villa is in a beautiful rural location, on the crest of a hill with stunning views in both directions. The pool is great, and you can lie next the pool looking out at the amazing rolling Italian hills. The Villa is part of an agriturismo, so the hosts are nearby if needed - which was really useful as Covid19 restrictions meant we had to stay isolated at the Villa for the first 5 days. The hosts did all our shopping for no extra cost, they arranged our Covid19 tests at a local pharmacy and nothing was ever an inconvenience for them! The Villa has a great outdoor terrace where we would eat as a family and watch the sun go down. There is a restaurant within easy walking distance, and whilst promoting itself as a Pizzeria (the Belvedere), it has full menu of fabulous Italian food at prices you could hardly believe (very cheap). You are also less than an hours drive from central Rome. We all had an awesome holiday, and I would highly recommend this Villa.
