Petrino 2 - Traditional Lerian House

Petrino 2 was a beautiful place to stay, in an excellent location for visiting the different parts of Leros. The traditional house was basic, yet well equipped, with a small kitchenette including oven/hob, small grill, kettle, coffee machine and even a milk frother for cappuccinos! The bed was spacious, with two little windows at the end allowing morning views over the bay below. We loved opening the wooden shutters in the morning to let daylight stream through. Natasa was great at communicating, very responsive, and really helpful. She gave lots of recommendations for places to eat, where to go, and car hire on Leros. We had a slight issue with the door lock when we arrived, and she had someone out to take a look within a couple of hours. The property was idyllic and peaceful, with views across the bay, and a choice of outdoor seating areas. It was exactly what we needed as a base for our few days on the island.

There was nothing about the property we didn't like! Just to be aware that there are mosquitoes around, so make sure you use the deterrents that are available at the house!

"This is a wonderful, truly unique property. 'Petrino 2' is one of two small, traditional stone houses set within a beautiful pine-covered estate. It offers stunning views of Pandeli Bay with its anchored sailboats, as well as the mountain above, complete with its windmills and castle. The view is magical—honestly one of the best on the island—and you can enjoy it not just from the various garden seating areas (terraces, built-in benches, a hammock, and wooden loungers with comfy cushions under the pines) but even from inside the house through the windows. Inside, Petrino 2 features an open-plan layout. The entrance area includes a single bed that functions as a couch as well. This leads into a larger area with a double bed on one side, and a kitchenette and bathroom on the other. In between, it is beautifully furnished with open kitchen shelving, a table, a lovely mirror vanity, and a semi-built-in wardrobe. While the two sleeping areas are not independent bedrooms, they do not have a direct line of sight to each other and can be closed off with light curtains for extra privacy.The house is decorated with exceptional taste. Its vibe and aura go way beyond a typical, commercial Airbnb. The host is a very sweet lady, and her choice of fabrics and furniture reflects great sensitivity and elegance. The sheets, towels, and bathrobes are beautiful, spotless, and feel luxurious. The renovation of this old stone building strikes a perfect balance between modern comforts and traditional charm.

There not something I did not like, only a few quick tips for future guests: you will propably need a vehicle, as the property is located high up relative to Pandeli, which is the closest spot for dining. For solo female travelers, I wouldn't recommend walking or cycling during the night, as a short stretch of the road is surrounded by trees with no buildings around (though it only takes about a minute by bike).

A lovely little house in quiet corner of the island with an amazing view over the bay. We loved to watch the boats. Outside space was great and Natasa left lots of goodies when we arrived. She let us check in early and check out late, which was much appreciated and was very easily contactable. But take bug spray! Lots of mozzies in the trees.

Nice view , nice location , nice little stone house

Not very clean , some coffee capsules but no coffee machine for them (!) , no soap , no shower gel or shampoo , and some food leftovers like sauces from past guests in the refrigerator . This is bad hospitality and bad value for money !
