Casa da Boa Nova, by Casa de Terena, one of the oldest Rural Tourism in the upper Alentejo.
Located in the typical village of Terena to spend a relaxing holiday with family or friends.
Located right next to the castle of Terena, it has two bedrooms with large double beds, two bathrooms, living room with TV and fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, Internet.
Access to a large swimming pool (12x6) from Turismo Rural, about 150 meters away and to an outdoor space with a table to have your meals.
We can add extra bed.
Terena has an excellent location, from here you can go to discover the most beautiful tourist places in Alentejo such as Évora, Vila Viçosa, Monsaraz, Redondo etc... where you have at your disposal numerous activities such as visits to wineries, river beaches, boat trips in the Alqueva, balloon rides, etc...
You can also enjoy the good Alentejo cuisine, stargaze and the stillness of country life.

Terena itself is an idyllic hilltop village with winding cobblestone streets connecting it's 12thC Castle on one side with the Igreja Matriz de São Pedro on the other. Tied between these two landmarks are the storybook lines of tiny whitewashed houses with red roofs.
Surrounding the village are vast hills studded with cork oaks and olive trees and vineyards for which the Alentejo region is famous. This is one of the most unspoiled and beautiful hikes in Europe, walking

We are four friends in our 50’s and 60’s. Casa de Terena was beautiful and so comfortable. Altino was a wonderful host who made us feel right at home. The area around Terena and Evora was everything we could hope for in a vacation. We all left talking about our next visit there!
