The Cornerhouse

Perfect for our night out in Frome as we were going to the Cheese & Grain for Radio 2 Dance sounds of the 90s…literally a 10 min walk from the hotel . The room was comfortable & clean, overlooking the street , which I always enjoy. I love people watching! The staff were lovely & helpful. The breakfast was huge & fantastic … really good! What we paid for our stay , it was great value for money with a fab breakfast!!

Top of a steep hill, not a huge concern for us but if you have mobility problems, this might be something to consider

Awful squeaky noises late and night and again 6am onwards from the room upstairs really disturbed our sleep. Back entrance & corridors downstairs a bit grim. Weren't told in advance that bar & restaurant are currently closed

Good location close to the town centre, decent breakfast with choice for hot food and buffet cold food. Room was clean and bathroom seemed newly decorated. On site parking. Kettle + tea/coffee + water in room.

The room was at the top of steep stairs, which would be hard with mobility issues. The room was small and extremely hot (though it was a hot weekend) - there was a fan but without it we'd have been unable to sleep. Coffee was from a machine - I think it should be made to order if you have a la carte breakfast.
