The host was very helpful and kind, despite the language barrier! She stayed later for our check in, as it took a lot longer than expected to reach the apartment. She also drove us to the airport for our early flight, so we won't have to take a taxi. Room was great - spacious, clean, had everything we need, it almost felt like we're visiting friends.
Location is great if you have to take a taxi for the airport or if you are only planning on staying in Modugno. Otherwise, it was veeery hard to get to Bari, as there is only the train as an option and the station is outside the town. Apartment was 18-20 minutes away if you're walking and really you don't have any other option than walking. Plus, latest train was at 20:50, which was too early if you are planning on eating in Bari or somewhere else, as all restaurants in Puglia are closed before 20h.
However, there's nothing wrong with the apartment itself, it was superb!

The landlords were friendly, however spoke no English whatsoever.
The room was clean enough.
No soundproofing, we could hear the neighbour's shower like it was inside our room.
The landlords spoke no English, which made it difficult to understand what they wanted.
