About this house rental
Private home in a gated community with pool. 4 bedrooms, two baths. Sleeps at least 8. Newly renovated in spring of 2018 with complete interior painting and carpets replaced with beautiful tile.
Our home is amidst world class attractions such as hiking on countless breathtaking trails for all fitness levels, incredible opportunities for golfers, pleasant shopping in commercial plazas, farmers markets, and a variety of local and national chain stores. Also nearby are historical sites of interest to all ages, the Sonoran Desert Museum, Wildlife Museum, Old Tucson Studios, Titan Missile Museum, Biosphere 2, Tucson Zoo, Air and Space Museum, the University of Arizona, and much more.
Communities in Oro Valley are well planned without overdevelopment. Each neighborhood is carefully placed within the natural desert environment creating a pleasant experience just walking around. Our home is less than ten minutes from the Coronado National Forest and Catalina State Park.
We find Oro Valley to be one of the best winter get-away spots. Each day December thru May is like the best of summer days back east. One can always depend on dry air and sunshine. When we sit poolside in our backyard we feel like we are at a resort. The pool is wonderful, surrounded by plenty of natural desert landscaping. We especially enjoy how quiet the neighborhood is, the wonderful people we meet, and how the sky is dark and clear at night.

Enjoyed our stay. Loved the pool. Difficulties with the screen door leading to the pool area. We were very cautious every time we opened the door. Location was fantastic.

We ran into some minor problems upon arrival. The carpets were stained (note saying they would be replaced) and looked horrible. There was a formal living room that was never used and became wasted space for our group. We had to supply some basics like toilet paper, kleenex, and dish washing soap. The pool was not heated and was too cold to use. The shower head fell off in the main bath during the first use. All of the above items were MINOR but needed to be mentioned.
On the positive side, fresh fruit was left for us. Easy access to the main roads which made shopping convenient. The caretaker stopped to visit and we had his number if we needed anything.
Dan was very responsive to my questions before arriving and made it clear that we could contact him at anytime.
I would have given this another star if the carpets looked better and the pool was warmer.
