Pristine Rancho Vistoso Estate with a Private Pool

The house was very much as described. It was very clean and the host had it stocked with the “opps I forgot” toiletries and paper goods as well as spices, oils, etc. There were plenty of towels - pool and bath, we had everything we needed. His check in/out directions were very clear and easy to follow. Top notch host, in my opinion. The pool was very cold but that is very common in Tucson this time of year. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

My husband and I recently spent 2 months at this property. We are long time users of VRBO and have never provided less than positive information on a property. However since we rely on others to make our assessments of a property we felt we should make an exception in this case. We had several issues we will share with future visitors. First, there is an action activated camera and recording device in the garage. This is important because in this case the attached garage is in some respects an extension of the house. The trash cans and an extra refrigerator as well as the visitors car is located in the garage causing the visitor to often be viewed and recorded. Additionally there is an action activated camera at the front door pointing not toward the street but toward the front door of the house thereby viewing all interactions of guests and their visitors at the front door. We unplugged the device but thought others should be aware of this. Second, we were asked to pay for the heated pool costs. This is clearly not spelled out anywhere in the VRBO information about this property. We were not aware of this provision until shortly before our arrival.
