This lovely apartment couldn't have been more perfectly located - close to everything, but on a quiet street. While not large, it had everything we needed and provided a comfortable place to rest. My friend and I chose to use both the loft bed and the pullout couch. Two people in the loft bed might have felt tight getting in and out, but this setup worked well for us!

Location, right on the edge of old town and sea. Easily serviced by cab. Well stocked kitchen for traveling families. 10min walk to boat for Vaxholm, 10min to Gamla station, 2min walk to kick off old town walks and then you are in main old town center. Easy communication with host.
Be ready to have your steps if you plan to do multiple round to homes. Luggage in/out to spiral stairs could be challenged if you are not aware of it.

The appartment was really cozy and location for sightseeing is perfect. The owners were also super helpful and fast to respond. We had some problems with hot water and they fixed it the same day when we told them about it.
The kitchen is really well equiped as well. As we were guests on the ground floor we had access to the small outside sitting area which was a bonus in the mornings for drinking coffee and tea.
This is not ssomething bad but just a notice that is also clarified by the owners - since the bed is access via small wooden stairs it's not easily accessible for older people but sofa that is also there can be made into a bed which is also very comfortable.

Location was great. Close to the ferries, bus, tram and train. Just away from all the shops and restaurants. Very quiet.
