Lovely pod, great scenery, amazing hosts, peaceful and secluded.

Me and my partner stayed in the pod about 3 weeks ago now and we had a lovely weekend. The pod itself is homely and very warm despite it being cold outside. It’s isolated from everyone else which we thought was lovely and peaceful. The hosts were absolutely lovely and were more than welcoming to us. Plenty of good walking spots and small towns surrounding so despite the location there’s plenty to do on a weekend getaway. Overall a great weekend and lovely pod, great value for money as well. Couldn’t recommend it more!

The only issue is the roads to get there as they are quite tight and uneven and signal isn’t great but despite that it’s a perfect weekend away!

Great location, excellent amenities, very responsive and helpful host.

The location of the pod was exactly what we hoped for - remote, beautiful scenary and just off a lovely country lane. The pod itself had everything we needed - a well stocked kitchennette with everything you need to make proper home cooked meals, excellent water pressure in the shower, and underfloor heating that kept us warm day and night. The host was quick to help and great with comms.

The only downside was the mattress - it was quite uncomfortable but just about bearable if you don't move too much on it... Unfortunately had to knock the overall score down to a 9 because of this, otherwise would've been a 10/10 stay.

Perfect quiet weekend away

Quiet location, neighbours were very friendly when we needed alternate directions one day (road closure due to snow), Ann answered any query we had, pod was very clean and had everything we needed. There was a discussion on the way home about potentially booking again during the summer/autumn months 😊

celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary.

Perfect location and the pod is very clean. Perfect weekend and definitely we go back again. We can hear the birds singing and the sheep in the morning best place to unwind. Went to local town in Machynlleth very friendly people.

Absolute little gem of a place and quite an adventure to reach it down lovely little lanes and hills.

Lovely little secluded pod in the middle of the valleys. Only neighbours were the sheep, beautiful and tranquil. Went for a day out at Hafren Forrest which was amazing and was lovely to get back to the pod to have a lovely hot shower cook dinner and put the fire pit on with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down.

Nothing we didn’t like, loved it all. I would recommend ensuring you have all your necessities as car journey to the nearest shops.

Beautifully situated and completely isolated. Perfect for anyone wanting to get away from everything and relax.

No signal on phones - although not necessarily a BAD thing as we wanted to get away from everything so not having having phones working was quite a novel experience. However, if we had needed to contact someone urgently we would have had to travel in to the nearest town to get signal.

Brilliant!!

The pod was lovely and has everything you need for a quiet break away. The surrounding area is beautiful. There is no signal or television at the pod but my two children didnt mind this at all and loved seeing all the local wildlife and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. Ann is lovely and makes you feel very welcome. The pod is a stand alone and not part of a group which I loved. There are nearby beaches/mountains/rivers. Fantasic place.

Lovely location, very rural and away from busy roads. Owner helpful and kind. Lovely and snug pod, great under floor heating as well.

Very poor signal but once in the town can get phone connection so was not an issue.

We arrived and couldn't believe how peaceful it was. The location is definitely a breath of fresh air and all the locals were smiling like Cheshire cats. We were over the moon with the pod which has been built to a high standard, with all the facilities you need. If you're looking for a getaway it's highly recommended 👌

A TV would have been nice but I understand why it's probably not viable.

Everything was simply amazing you couldn’t ask for a better location and a fantastic pod I mean it was very peaceful very quiet very clean very comfy and very warm perfect Our trip was for my son who was taking photos from the Mach loop. Which is a 16 mile drive and a nice one at that. The pod itself is simply amazing you have everything you need and more the double bed was so comfortable my son told me that sofa bed was so comfortable and our Time in a pod was perfect something we will definitely recommend and with a bit of luck we will be returning very shortly Ann messaged me before during and after our trip and if there was anything we needed all we needed to do was give her a call or a message a perfect host, With no TV and no signal made this blissful I mean you need to try this day of Age it was amazing. So thank you Ann You made our stay amazing all the best stay safe Ray and Chandler.

The perfect getaway

I liked how remote it was. My girlfriend really enjoyed it as it was a birthday surprise for her. Definitely earned a few brownie points for that.

Didn't get to meet Ann, but met the lovely gentleman who showed us everything.
