Very poor

The bathroom had black mold , the flat was dirty and un-renovated ( old single pane , milky windows), broken toaster, not enough cutlery. The staircase very narrow and dangerous. Also directly on the busy main road which led to the motorway. Huge trucks racing past the accommodation. The landlord was not very friendly and for the price a rip-off.

Checked out before our official check out date. Not recommended unless you're in deep money trouble.

The windows towards the main street were not sound proofed at all and it felt like sleeping on the street. Going to the 'balcony' required squeezing through a dwarf cave like hole where and it was a challenge not to hit the head on the way through. Bathroom was claustrophobic and there was mold on the ceiling, the shower did not gush enough water, toilet kept making flushing noise for hours after flushing.

It's within good driving distance of Keukenhof, Hague City and Amsterdam city centre. A petrol station and a couple of takeaway/food places are nearby. Parking is free, but it's on-the-road parking.

It says free parking in the description, but it's on-the-road parking. There is no allocated/ guaranteed parking space. The room is very close to the motorway and too much noise from passing vehicles at night. The window is not soundproof. The bathroom had broken shower doors and some broken tiles. It's ok if you are just looking for a place to sleep at night for a few days.

Good

Unfortunately as it was so hot, I had t open the windows to a loud road, and I really couldn't sleep due to the heat (it was a very hot period to be fair). Also, I was disappointed of the extra charges (tourist tax), which was never mentioned on the ad.. this needs to happen in future.

Pluses and minuses

Our original reservation had to be changed due to smoke damage, and our host kindly found us another space which was very clean and still very close to walk to relatives' home. Our bedroom was very quiet and we slept soundly. Good shower.

On a busy street even though our bedroom did not face it. Very steep, winding, typical Dutch stairs - anyone who is aging may not be able to maneuver with suitcases. We had to walk out into the common hallway in order to go from our bedroom to the kitchen/living area. Key system was confusing but we managed after a few tries.

Schon beim betreten der Wohnung sahen wir was das für eine Katastrophe von Wohnung ist,wir fahren seit vielen Jahren nach Holland aber so etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt, alles veraltet, eng,Geräte alt primitiv verschmutzt, der Zugang zur Terrasse mussten wir erst suchen und stellten fest eine Tür nur ca. 1m Höhe wo man durch kriechen mussten das man sich den kopf anstöst, wir konnten unmöglich in diese Wohnung bleiben sind sofort wieder abgereist, dann habe ich verstanden warum der Vermieter die Buchung schon vier Tage vorher von meine Kreditkarte eingezogen hat, normalerweise kenne ich das man erst am Tag der Anreise Vorort bezahlt, wäre das nämlich so gewesen dann hätte ich die Buchung nicht bezahlt, kann alle nur raten meiden Sie diese Wohnung zu buchen.

Le propriétaire de l'appartement débarque dans l'appartement sans demander la permission et ouvre la porte d'entrée du logement qui est fermée à clé. Je déconseille fortement ce logement si vous ne voulez pas vous retrouver avec des objets qui vous manque car le propriétaire n'éprouve aucune gêne à rentrer chez vous.
