If we could have chosen minus 1 as overall rating we would have.

The room we booked was not what was assigned to us. Upon complaining we were told this is a booking.com problem the owner knew about it and nothing was done to rectify the issue. The owner offered an alternative accomdation however we might have lost our prepaid payment in full and the alternative was more expensive. The bed was utmost uncomfortable. The plates were putred and the cupboard had a foul odor - my wife washed the lot after receiving a shower of foul smelling water from one of the plates. Frozen food and bottle was left in freezer all iced up from a previous tennant. While renovations can happen, for them to extend well into the late afternoon with angle grinder and hammer drill one meter from our room left a foul taste with us. After a day out - we left the heater on - we returned to a cold unit, the central heating circulation pump could not be heard until we raised the issue late the last evening. After initial promises all is ok we miraculously heard the pump again and it got warm.

Perfect price / performance ratio and close to nice cities, nature and unesco listed sites.

A separate toilet would be nice. Now it is in the bathroom and staying there with 5 people makes that a bit less convenient.

Superb

The keys were given to us on the spot. everything was alright. The apartment was clean and well equipped. No problem with wifi. Parking is at the house. It is a very quiet place, no car traffic. Restaurant 300m. I recommend swimming at Losheim am see, sandy beach for children, entrance 4 euros and parking 6 euros. I enjoyed it a lot. We were here for a week. We will definitely be back.

Nice and relaxing

Spacious, clean, close to bus stop for day trips via Merzig train station. Situated directly next to beautiful forrest for walking and joging. A nice bakery at walking distance in the village. Wifi and TV working perfectly.

There were no dislikes. Thank you to our friendly helpful host for helping out with facemasks on shop closure day.

Very good

Location was ok, the apartment enough bigger with all what you need inside and internet connection very good. The owner Gianni was very nice and helpful during my arrival there.

Pillows are too soft, I need to use both of them and even like this was not comfy, the radiator in the room cracked every time when the heat came on during the night (04:00AM start) and the walls are tinny and I heard all neighbors in the house.

Not a bit problem but this can be easily fixed. The cooking stove was a bit old and couldn’t see which top belongs to which switch as it has been faded. It would be good to mark it

Sadly the bedding and sofa smelled of dog and smoke Please do tell the cleaner not to smoke while doing the laundry, I had to cover the sofa and bedding with own towels to kill the smell.

Schlichte Unterkunft als Basis für Unternehmungen (motorisiert) in der Umgebung.

Kleiner Ort, Bäcker zu Fuß zu erreichen, Supermarkt wenige Kilometer entfernt. Die von uns gewünschten Sehenswürdigkeiten waren mit ca. 1/2 Std. Autofahrt erreichbar.

Internet/W-Lan fällt immer wieder aus.

Achtung gesundheitsgefährdende Unterkunft!

Die Gegend ist schön.

Vorsichtig beim Buchen dieser Unterkunft! 1. ist der Eigentümer sehr schwer zu erreichen und 2. ist diese Unterkunft gesundheitsgefährdend! Wir haben leider erst sehr spät in die EG Wohnung unten links eingecheckt. Uns blieb nichts anderes übrig die Nacht dort zu verbringen. Beim Betreten der Wohnung roch es schon nach Keller und Schlimmel. Die Wohnung war sehr dreckig und schimmelig, die Decke im Bad hing schon ab, das Bett samt Bettwäsche klamm, Zimmer kalt im Sommer! Wir hatten angst krank zu werden und haben am nächsten Tag direkt ausgecheckt. Ich informierte booking.com von diesem Vorfall. Ich habe bisher schon viele Unterkünfte über Booking.com gebucht, aber so eine Unterkunft ist mir noch nie begegnet. Zeitgleich bekam ich mehrere Anrufe aus Barcelona- ich gehe davon aus, dass dies der Vermieter war. Booking.com bat um Teilerstattung der Unterkunft. Vergebens... der Vermieter lehnte dies direkt ab und fragte erst anschließend nach dem Grund der Stornierung. Ich habe noch weitere Fotos gemacht. Leider kann ich diese nicht alle hochladen.

Hele fijn plek voor mooie wandeltochten.

We hadden een overcompleet ruim appartement. Met een keuken waar alles op en aan was. Heel fijn. Bed was heerlijk. Douchestraal ook heerlijk. Prachtige omgeving om te hiking. Daarvoor waren wij gekomen.. Prijs kwaliteit dik in orde.

De douche had schimmel in de kitranden. Maar dit is prima te verhelpen door goede schoonmaakbeurt of vervanging van het kit.

Geräumige Wohnung nahe der Saarschleife, die etwas renovierungsbedürftig ist.

In dem schönen kleinen Ortsteil Bachem hatten wir eine sehr geräumige Wohnung im 2ten Stock (30 Stufen) mit einer riesigen Balkon-Terrasse mit Blick auf den Fußballplatz. An lauen Sommerabenden kann man hier prima lange draußen sitzen. Die Wohnung bietet in zwei Schlafzimmern genügend Platz für vier Personen und zur Not kann auch eine fünfte noch im Wohnbereich schlafen. In Bachem gibt es Bäcker und Metzger, einen Rewe-Markt findet man in Brotdorf, ca. 3 km von der Wohnung entfernt. Nach gut 5 km ist man in der Kreisstadt Merzig und nach ca. 20 Minuten ist man bei der wunderschönen Saarschleife.

Das Haus und die Wohnung hat dringend einige Renovierungen nötig. Bei der Haustür hatte ich gleich die Klinke in der Hand, das Treppengeländer ist wackelig. In der Wohnung ist die Matratze, auf der wir gelegen gaben, sehr durchgelegen. Teilweise gefährlich empfanden wir die ansonsten wunderbare Balkonterasse. Das Holzgeländer ist nicht fest und auch der Boden hat einige lose Planken. Sehr unangenehm empfanden wir den Geruch im Bad. Hier müssten die Abflüsse einmal kräftig durchgespühlt werden. Das Wasser in der Dusche fließt bspw. nur sehr langsam ab.

Mooie tijd gehad.

Locatie was prima, direct aan bosrand. Bakker en slager in de buurt, loopafstand. Pizzeria ook in de buurt, andere winkels of restaurants zijn er niet. Bed prima, douche en toilet apart. Kamer en badkamer met gordijn en toilet met deur. Vond ik prima, zo had je meer ruimte. Stoelen van de bar hadden gebruikssporen, echter dat stoort me niet.

Een tip, plaats een combi-magnetron. Dan kan je afbakbroodjes bakken, want een bakoven is er niet. Regelmatig geluiden te horen van verbouwing en andere gasten, is soms storend.

Heerlijke vakantie gehad!

We hebben 4 dagen genoten in een ander appartement dan de vorige keer, toevallig recht tegenover ons eerdere verblijf. Ook dit appartement was top: schoon, compleet ingericht en met een groot terras en prachtig uitzicht. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. De eigenaresse is ontzettend lief en gastvrij. Dit was onze tweede keer, en we komen zeker nog eens terug!

Tolle Wohnung für Naturliebhaber, weniger für mobil eingeschränkte oder ältere Menschen

Die Wohnung liegt ruhig direkt am Wald. Ein Bäcker ist in der Nähe. Der Kontakt war zuverlässig und sehr hilfsbereit. Gemütliche Terrassenmöbel für sonnige Tage auf der großen Terrasse.

Die Treppe in den zweiten Stock ist sehr steil. Das Geländer auf der (schönen!) Terrasse aus unserer Sicht nicht sehr stabil.

Prima appartement met een klein keukentje, gezellig zithoekje en een prima bed. Goede badkamer met toilet, erg netjes. Vriendelijke host.

Ich kann die Ferienwohnung nicht weiter empfehlen.

Die Lage ist am Waldrand und recht leise.

Meine Ferienwohnung hatte nur eine Eingangstür und eine Tür für das Wc. Im Bad und zum Schlafzimmer, Küche und Wohnzimmer ( alles in einem Raum) gab es auch nur ein Vorhang.und keine Tür. Alle Fenster waren morgens angelaufen. Im Bad stand das Wasser von den Fenstern auf den Fensterbänken. Im Bad gab es auch nur ein Handtuchheizkörper der zwar warm wurde aber der Raum war kalt. Zum duschen musste ich meinen Fön auf die Kommode legen und an machen, das es überhaupt warm wurde. Die Heizkörper waren mit einem Thermostat wo man, so wie ich es vermute, per App steuert ausgestattet. Immer wenn ich in die Wohnung zurück kam waren sie auf 18 Grad gestellt. Draußen waren es -4,5 Grad. Zum Schlafzimmer, Küche, Wohnzimmer. Die Möbel waren sehr stark abgenutzt oder kaputt wenn nicht sogar vom Sperrmüll. In einer Information wo auf der Küchenzeile lag waren die Ruhezeiten von 22 bis 6 Uhr angegeben. Wurden leider überhaupt nicht eingehalten. Der Vermieter selbst hat entweder in seiner Wohnung oder in den Anderen Ferienwohnungen renoviert. Und das bis mindestens halb eins in der Nacht. Und morgens um 6 Uhr ging es dann weiter. Im Flur hatten einige Personen lautstark geredet (23.30 Uhr) worauf ich dann raus bin um mal Waschung sagen. Es war der Vermieter selbst wo so laut geredet hatte.
