Family Batcave Homestay

I stayed in the tent, which was very comfortable with mattress and bedding, a fan, and power outlets. I was worried it would be too hot sleeping without aircon in mid April, but it was absolutely fine at night. The fan helped too. It was also super fun on a platform over a pond! Loved the hammock. The bathrooms were clean and well equipped. I was given a towel too. The food was delicious - breakfast is included! The location is great, just a short walk from the bat caves and food places. But still feel in the country side. I liked that it was out of the main city. Esaro sorted out tuk tuks for me, a tour for me and a couple of others staying there (which was a great day!), and even came with us up to the temple by the killing caves to tell us the story depicted. Esaro and his family are so so welcoming and kind. I was lucky enough to be there for Khmer New Year and had a great time spending time with them in the evening. Overall a fantastic stay. One of the highlights of my 3 months travelling Asia. Would absolutely recommend.

Friendliest and most welcome hosts we’ve had, great room and amazing vibe. Would say this is the best place we’ve stayed so far and the community around Battambang are very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend you stay here. The host can also help with organising transport and activities.
