Very nice home, needed a few more items in the kitchen, one bedroom had a bad mattress but we made due by shifting people around. Nice location, amazing hosts, we would stay here again. Highly recommend it for large groups.

We loved the old house and all the period furnishings. Mostly we loved that it could fit all of us in one place. A short walk to the nice little beach was great. A short drive to Walker or to Brainerd to explore. We had a wonderful time being together, sitting around a campfire, grilling, and playing in the yard.

It is a very large house in a nice location for a family. A small but sandy beach and playground is only a few minutes walk away. Most of the furniture was old and uncomfortable and the kitchen was small. The house was also not very clean. Despite these issues we enjoyed our family weekend.
