The Olive Grove, a beautiful property on the Lake of Como

This villa was in the perfect location for exploring Tremezzo and taking a boat across the lake to Bellagio. It had everything we needed for our large family and the property around the villa, including the pool and olive trees, were lovely. We would definitely recommend this villa to others and would stay there again if we return to the area.

The house was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the big outdoor table and pool that overlook the lake for hours every day. The kitchen was big and had plenty of plates etc for our party of 9. There is one bedroom that you can only get to through two other bedrooms, but because we were all family it wasn’t a big problem for us. The bedrooms were all comfortable with big windows and fans that kept everything cool without the need for AC. The views from all around the house are spectacular, we took many pictures! The location of a house big enough for our group was great- we could walk to restaurants and bars and the local beach as well as the ferry in 10-15 minutes. The town is big enough to have lots of variety while also feeling like a small Italian town. There were amazing restaurants nearby that we frequented many times. There is also room for more than three cars in the driveway which is helpful for big groups. We also had a meal prepared at the house by a chef recommended by the host that was a real treat. The food was made in the house and was delicious, we ate outside overlooking the lake, and everything was cleaned up for us! I definitely recommend this experience!

My family and I stayed at the Olive Grove for a couple of days. It was absolutely AMAZING! The views and property of the house were unbeatable, We were able to walk to the lake, Alessa greeted us and showed us around the property. Marie was so responsive and helpful with a few of the nuances of the property. It was the perfect amount of space for 10 adults and 1 6 month old. Through Marie, we were able to organize 2 nights of dinner at the house with chef Carlo. Chef Carlo and his staff (I apologize I can not remember his servers name), were absolutely fantastic! The meals he prepared at the house were 5 star quality and service. He also went above and beyond because the stores were closed already by the time we got to the house and the next day was a holiday in Italy, Chef Carlo was able to get us breakfast essentials from his own home (including fresh eggs from his father's farm!) Truly an unforgettable experience! Such warm, wonderful people. I hope we get to go back!

Check-in was easy and we were met at the villa. Communications throughout were excellent. Views from the villa were amazing. Facilities in the villa were good but the fridge freezer isn’t adequate for the size of the villa. We struggled to keep food and drinks cool. On leaving the villa we were sent a barrage of texts requesting damages for small marks on walls, and the ironing board cover being damaged which was already like this when we used it. If we had damaged it then the iron would have also shown the burn marks. It was extremely hot while we were there and from our point of view the Villa would certainly benefit from air conditioning.

We very much enjoyed our time staying at this beautiful property. The views are amazing. The house is neat and clean - photos are accurate. Property manager Maria was amazing to work with. She answered all our questions and concerns prior to our visit and was accessible throughout our stay when we had additional questions. The house is much larger than we anticipated and gave us plenty of room to relax and spend family time together. Laying by the pool surrounded by the beauty of the mountains, the olive tree grove and the views of the water - it was one of the most beautiful places in the world we have visited. I understand that typically air conditioning isn’t necessary due to the openness of the house and a breeze but we were there during a heat wave and it was unusually hot. We appreciate that the owner provided fans for each of the bedrooms. Four of the bedrooms are interconnected. This worked for our family but just be aware in case your situation is different. One of the rooms is only accessible by passing through another bedroom. Property is in a good location - quiet neighborhood but close walk to the lake, restaurants and ferry. This was a wonderful place to stay for our family vacation. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for everything Maria!

Perfect for a family of 8 ages ranged from 5-75. The pool was a great way to beat the heat in the summer. 4 bathrooms made it easy for all family members. We walked into town most days for meals and boats to other towns. The hills were a challenge for the older family members. A car is suggested if you have anyone in your group that has limited mobility. There is a great grocery nearby for all the essentials. We were able to cook family meals in the well equipped kitchen. The dishwasher and washing machine were added bonus amenities for the house. Thank you!

Beautiful property, ample space, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, easy walk to Tremezzo, loved lounging by the pool. Maria was the best host and was so helpful with any questions we had as well as helping us to book reservations and taxis etc. Would def stay here again and recommend for groups and families.

We loved the setting of the Villa, looking at the lake and the beautiful mountain sides. The pool and outdoor amenities were wonderful. The location for those who like to walk was excellent. Also a short car ride too much of the surrounding area. Bellissimo!

Maria was attentive to all my requests. Thank you for having coffee brought to us. The House and grounds are lovely and very spacious. The pictures are true to the real house. The pool was an absolute treat in the heat. A few amenities for the price we paid such as bathroom garbage cans, shower soap, and extra toilet paper and paper towels would have been nice to have but we knew ahead of time exactly what was offered. Maria was wonderful to work with. I hope to be back one day. Patricia

This house was great. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The pool and the view are fantastic!! We had a great time.

Perfect stay at a wonderful villa.

Haus ist in Ordnung, entspricht allerdings italienischem Standard. Der Aussenbereich mit den Olivenbäumen und dem Pool ist grosstüging und gepflegt. Einzig die Beleuchtung des Pools funktioniert nicht. Die Nachbarn sind ziemlich schnell genervt wenn es mal ein bisschen lauter ist und drohen schnell mit Polizei.

Großzügiges Grundstück, gut eingezäunt (war uns wegen unserm Hund wichtig) mit sehr schönem, großen und sauberen Pool, geräumiges Haus, funktional eingerichtet (wer aufwendiger selbst Kochen will bringt besser Küchengeräte mit, diese Ausstattung war spärlich). 11 Personen hatten im Haus mehr als ausreichend Platz. Die Hausrigentümerin war bei der Ankunft vor Ort, sehr netter und unkomplizierter Umgang.

Wir waren zu 8 im Haus. Die Küchenutensilien waren sehr schwach - insbesondere da wir gute Köche sind. Wir bemängeln die Anzahl Weingläser, Teller etc. Ebenfalls war kein Besen oder sonstige Putz Utensilien vorhanden. Ebenfalls hat es keinen einzigen Sonnenschirm. Bei dem Mietpreis erwarten wir das vorerwähnte und war ansonsten immer vorhanden bei unseren anderen Villen.
