About this resort
Experience it all at Wyndham Durango. This beautiful vacation resort is situated at the foot of the San Juan National Forest, along the banks of the winding Animas River. Enjoy a taste of the old-West in Durango with a stay in spacious One-Bedroom condos complete with plush bedding, mini kitchen and oversized bathrooms. You're sure to find something just for you at Wyndham Durango. Daily housekeeping is not included and may be added for a nominal fee.
From January 12 to April 30, 2026, the resort will undergo elevator modernization (elevator unavailable; stair access required), a Wi-Fi upgrade (intermittent service possible), and roof replacement (occasional noise and restricted area access)—dates are subject to change.

The Wyndham Durango was an ideal place to stay for our small group. We were able to walk to dinner and shopping in downtown Durango. The property was clean and amenities were modern and accessible. We enjoyed the two hot tubs on the 4th floor. The suite had extra linens and pillows for the pull out sofa bed. We appreciated the small stool in the shower.
The property has adjacent parking with only a small number of parking spaces in front of the property. Most of those were handicapped parking, but the guests in those spaces did not appear to be impaired.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the property.

This is a great property for convenient walkable access to downtown. Staff is very friendly, facility is clean and well maintained. One of the best bang for the buck locations in Durango.

Staff was friendly, location inthe southern tip of old town Durango was convenient. Only criticism would be the stringent smell of floor cleaner every time we walked through the lobby.
