Provencal house with swimming pool, beach 400 m away, in the Gulf of St Tropez

Beautifull, quiet and secure location with a lovely garden. Our flat was clean and it was relaxing to sit on the terrasse and have the stunning view of the blue Mediterranean Sea The communication with Anne was easy and friendly. The caretaker Nicola was welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and looking forward to our next holiday. P.S. Anne, thank you for the nice and fresh bottle of Rose, which we enjoyed a lot after a long journey.

We are a couple with a 2yo kid. We came from Denmark. We have spent 5 days at the villa “Les Mimosas” end of September 2018 (outside of season). Before renting the villa we had been in direct contact with the owner by email and phone (in French). The owner actually contacted us during our stay to hear if all was going well. The property is located a few km from the city center of Ste Maxime, on a private road starting next to the sea and going up a hill facing the sea. The road is protected by a gate with code. The beach is walking distance from the house. There are also a few beach restaurants down (not tested). There is a supermarket less than 1 km away (next to the beach). The property is located up the hill and divided in several independant houses of which 3 are for rent, and the 4th is used by the owner for their holiday. The swimming pool is heated, which is why we chose this rental. Bigg added value. The swimming pool is shared between the guests but does not feel crowdy. The other guests were pleasant and understanding (our kid was a bit excited to start with :) It’s a nice compound with lots of bushes. Now about the villa Les Mimosas: we have spent most of our time on the terasse, which has a fantastic view on the sea and coast line (we mean it). The house has two floors but the ground floor is used to keep garden furnitures during winter so not used. You will be located at the first floor. Important: you will need to climb 20/30 steps to access the house so keep that in mind if you have physical issues or use a wheel chair. Despite other houses being close (less than 10 meters), we felt that the house & terasse were very private, as it is located on top + “fenced” by bushes so you cannot see what your neighbors are doing. Only a few wasps were a bit annoying but they were not aggressive. We just put some meat on a plate left on the floor and they were not bothering anymore. The house comprises 4 rooms: a bathroom with decent size and big shower, a parents bedroom with a medium large bed (16cm I think) and storage room, a smaller kids room with a bunk bed (so 2 small beds on top of each other) and storage room, and a kitchen / living room. This room is not very big but spacious enough, especially if you eat on the terasse. There is all you need to cook a decent meal, a fridge with a small freezer, dish washer, oven, etc. It also has a sofa and TV. All in all, we had a very pleasant experience at the villa, and would recommend it.
