Odinn Reykjavik Skolavordustigur Apartments

Perfect location right on rainbow road. Had everything we needed

Very noisy and was difficult to know which apartment was ours as no signage on doors

Very spacious, was only 6 of us staying but could comfortably have more. You were right in the center (on rainbow road) everything we needed was within a very short walk.

The hot water/showers in Iceland tend to have a funny smell but that’s down to us not doing our research rather than a property issue.

I really enjoyed the location it was very central right on the beginning of rainbow road. The bed was comfortable and supplies in the kitchen / appliances were really nice to have in Reykjavik - so we could make dinner at the stay.

There were a few things that were slightly broken - functional but needed a fix. When we got there the kitchen faucet was loose and leaning to the side (still worked). The shower leaks from the back of the drain (not shower door). Also a window would not completely close. The bed was comfortable but I think needs new linens, the sheets and pillows seemed worn out. There are also two gates on each side of the building so needed to take a bit of time to understand how to get into the stay. We ended up going in the wrong gate at first.

location. that's it.

definitely not as advertised. it was called 'luxurious'.....false advertising. Peeling paint and strong, musty odor are not a luxury of any kind. We paid way too much for this stay.
