Really close to local amenities and the mountains. Easy walking distance to the town and local attractions. Especially close to the Mer De Glacé train, which my children loved! Lovely outdoor space, with beautiful views of Mont Blanc from the deck. Picnic bench was lovely to have dinner in the evening. Clean and stylishly decorated. Super clear instructions on how to enter the property. Great communication from the host, from the moment we landed. Underground parking which was spacious and safe. Bedrooms had lots of storage.

These are really ridiculous things in the grand scheme of things, but: It was very warm - great in the winter-time, not so great in the summer months! However, there was a fan in each bedroom to help with this. The apartment is quite dark - I am spoilt at home and used to lots of light. Again, being ground floor and right next to the mountains is the main cause. Nothing to do with the property, but it did mean we were always turning on lights. Despite sleeping six people, there is only one toilet. This was fine for us (family of four: two young children) but if you are a group of 6 adults it may be close quarters!

The property was immaculately presented and in a fabulous location. The view of Mont Blanc from the terrace was stunning and it was just a five walk into the centre of Chamonix. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were finished to a very high standard. The property was quiet and the underground parking very secure. The Nespresso coffee pod machine was very welcome.

The kitchen was very well equipped with all manner of pots, pans, cooking dishes etc. However, food storage and preparation space was quite limited, so you would need to be an organised cook if you were going to prepare big meals for four every evening. We ate out every night in some of the fabulous restaurants in town, so it was no bother at all, but worth knowing if cooking is your thing.

The apartment offers you all you need, including parking and a box for ski equipment. The view is nice, beds are comfortable, was clean enough. Support from service company Mountain base was good

There is only one WC, but 2 separate bathrooms, not too much comfortable. Windows in bedrooms can only be opened widely, now option for a light fresh air conditioning. The bowler is warming only twice a day. 2 times we had to take a shower with totally cold water.
