About this apartment rental

Our mountain farm is located at 1,050 meters above sea level and offers beautiful views of the valley and the surrounding mountains. In the midst of untouched nature, you will find two apartments, as well as organic food and many opportunities for active recreation.

We manage our land sustainably and according to ecological principles. We are happy to offer you our home cooking. Nearby is the mountain pasture, where the cows of the local breed "Cika" can move freely throughout the summer. We want to maintain a healthy and beautiful environment for future generations.

You can visit the alpine pastures in the nearby Karawanken and taste their culinary offerings, go on easy or demanding mountain tours, mountain biking, hike the nearby Dovžan gorge or visit the old town of Tržič.

The apartment is very nice and well-equipped. The surroundings are very beautiful and quiet, it's just a shame that the road to get there is a bit difficult. Ambroz is very welcoming and speaks good English! We had a great stay!

The farm apartment far exceeded our expectations. This is a beautiful farm high up on the side of mountain with beautiful views and garden. Our hosts were so helpful with recommendations and information about the area. Excellent English made communication very easy. The apartment was sparkling clean, kitchen had everything I could want with good quality oven and stove, and a comfortable bed with lovely linens. We were fortunate to arrive about the time there was a new hatch of ducklings to keep us entertained in the garden, and cows and calves and a new foal just down the road. Yes, there’s a bit of a twisty road up the mountain, but well worth the drive. Very nice walks and hikes in the local area.

We had an amazing stay at this dwelling. The views are just amazing and the family of the farm just as much. The road to get there is a little bit steep, but it's worth it a the end. I would recommend this place!

Idyllic situation in the mountains on a working farm, surrounded by wild flower meadows and beautiful scenery. We received such a warm welcome from the whole family and were encouraged to roam wherever we wanted to. The apartment was very comfortable and peaceful with the only sound being the distant cowbells. We loved it!

Really amazing apartment in the middle of beautiful nature. View on green grass and mountain is just breathtaking. Sound of water is soothing. The apartment was cozy and impeccable clean. Real joy to stay there to recharge the energy. Thanks to hosts for warm welcome and all hard job they do on their estate.

Wir waren auf diesem zauberhaften Anwesen für eine Woche zu Gast. Das Apartment war picco bello sauber und urgemütlich. Unsere Gastgeberfamilie hat uns einen überaus warmen und herzlichen Empfang bereitet. Wir haben den Aufenthalt von der ersten Minute an genossen, nicht zuletzt weil der Hof mit seinen Menschen und Tieren eine Oase des Friedens und des Wohlbefindens darstellt. Der Hochpunkt (zumindest für uns) der Umgebung ist in doppeltem Sinne der nahe Gipfel des Storžič, auf den ein anspruchsvoller Klettersteig führt. Wir konnten ihn bedauerlicherweise aber wegen des instabilen Wetters nicht begehen.

Familie Perne ist sehr nett und gastfreundlich. Ihr Hof mit Katzen, Laufenten, Schweinen, Hühnern und Mutterkuhhaltung liegt auf 1000m NN und ist wunderbar gepflegt. Die Wohnungen sind perfekt ausgestattet. Wir haben für uns einige recht spektakulär schöne Touren vom Haus aus gemacht, die nicht nur Höhenmeter, sondern auch Kilometer bedeuteten. Die Wege sind gut ausgezeichnet, aber man muss genau hinschauen, weil sie nicht so oft begangen sind und dadurch schmal blieben. Einige echte Geheimtipps ;) Hinfahren, ausprobieren!

Wir waren für eine Woche zu Gast bei Familie Perne und konnten das Panorama sowie die Natur und Ruhe genießen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet und super wohnlich. Die Gastgeberfamilie war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns sogar mit selbstgemachten und regionalen Produkten versorgen können. Wir fühlten uns auf dem Hof und den Wiesen sehr willkommen und konnten somit auch vor Ort viel Zeit in freien verbringen. Der Hif sowie die Region ist sehr zu empfehlen für Menschen, die gern abseits von der Masse unterwegs sein wollen und dennoch ist man bei Bedarf sehr schnell in den umliegenden Städten und Touristenregionen. Bel appartement, fonctionnel et très propre au sein d'une ferme. Situé dans un environnement très calme, au cœur de la nature. Les hôtes sont accueillants (conseils, partage de leur histoire, de leur production...) et parlent très bien l'anglais et d'autres langues! Une jolie découverte en Slovénie! A refaire!
