About this villa rental

Large and comfortable Hacienda-style furnished house in a very private large lot enclosed by high stone walls. Located in a quiet street on the edge of the historic center, in one of the most beautiful colonial neighborhoods of the city, just one block from the famous Parque de Itzimná. Buses stop every 15 minutes at the door of the house and take you directly down town.
The property has been remodeled: kitchen, bathrooms, electrical and plumbing installations, wooden doors and windows with protective bars and mosquito screens. Besides the three main bedrooms, each with bathroom, closet and air conditioning, there are also two independent rooms in the garden with bathrooms and air conditioning. All bedrooms have access to the pool or private patio.

Our stay at this house was nothing short of incredible and unlike anything we’ve ever experienced before. Every morning, I lounged in the hammocks, sipping coffee while gazing at the serene zen garden. These quiet moments became even more special when my daughter joined me in the hammock for peaceful mornings together. In the afternoons, the pool was the perfect spot to cool off and relax in the heat. The location is ideal—just a short Uber ride to anywhere in the city. We loved exploring the nearby bakeries: one with an upscale vibe and another simpler but equally delicious. A must-visit is the juice man in the plaza—fresh and fantastic! When we planned this five-week trip, we wanted an authentic experience rather than staying at a resort. This house delivered exactly that. It’s a stunning property that truly feels like Mexico, and my entire family fell in love with it. Beyond the house itself, the warmth and kindness of the people made our trip unforgettable. If you’re staying here, take time to talk to the people you meet—you won’t regret it.Bertrand and Alejandro were exceptional hosts. During a hurricane, they ensured we were well-prepared and made us feel completely safe in the sturdy, historic house. Their care and attention to detail were remarkable—10/10 hosts. My wife and I agree that these five weeks were the best of our lives, and even our kids (with their limited years of experience) agreed.

This house was the perfect size for our family of 7. The location was perfect with a bank across the street to get local currency and wonderful coffee and bakeries within walking distance. Bertrand, the owner and Alejandro the contact person were both wonderful and easy to communicate with. They both went above and beyond to help us and even offered us to stay an extra night when hurricane Beryl prevented us from leaving on time. I could not recommend this place enough to any one interested thank you both.

The house is beautiful and comfortable for a big family. The bathrooms need some TLC care, but this didn't bother us. However, the day we arrived, we noticed there was not that much water when we tried to take showers, and the next day, we woke up with not running water at all. We spent a whole day without water. Alex, the property manager is very friendly, but he was not responding when I called, so I had to contact vrbo. The third day, we also woke up with no water, but the problem was quickly solved. The tv's don't work that well either. Although the house is very nice, spacious and comfortable, I wouldn't stay here again.
