I cannot express how amazing the High Carolew was in person! This place was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. You could see for miles. It was a slice of heaven. Every morning we woke up with our coffee on the porch and there was literally not a sound. We went into Brevard for dinner and it was close and amazing! We also went hiking on Saturday at Rainbow Falls which was so gorgeous. What a secret and stunning place you have here in the mountains. We will definitely be back and I cannot recommend it enough! Thank you!

A most splendid view that photos simply cannot capture... Fog in the morning lifting to reveal the mountains and lake... and rolling back in in the evening like a blanket. The bears come and visit at dusk... the cicadas sing all evening. The house is a home. We felt welcome from the moment we stepped in... The kitchen is the perfect size to cook and entertain... The bedrooms are comfortably sized with good beds and soft, fresh linens... The bathrooms are clean and stocked with lots of towels! The hot tub is a. fantastic addition to the property and the perfect place to unwind after the day's adventures.Bubba is a gracious host. He made certain that we had the best time possible [there was even a little birthday surprise in the kitchen] and responded quickly to any questions that we had. We had a fabulous time and plan to book again!
