About this cabin rental
Perched at 3,100 feet atop Caesars Head, SC, our mountain home offers what many consider the most iconic view in South Carolina: Table Rock and miles of protected Blue Ridge Mountains stretching to the horizon. This large mountain house sleeps up to 13 guests and is perfect for family reunions, multi-generational trips, girls' weekends, wedding weekends, or small romantic getaways.
We've kept the home fresh with updated carpet, a new dining table and chairs, a new gas grill, a repaved river-rock driveway, an updated screened porch, and recently refreshed paint and many furnishings throughout.
The Space
The gourmet kitchen opens to a dining room seating 10–12 and a living room with a stone fireplace, flowing out to expansive covered and screened porches — where most guests end up spending the majority of their stay, taking in the mountain views.

We're located in a small, private, historic mountain community minutes from Caesars Head State Park, with its famous overlook and park store within walking distance. Trailheads for miles of moderate to strenuous hiking and waterfalls are a short walk or drive from the house. Brevard, NC and Hendersonville, NC are a short scenic drive away, and downtown Greenville, SC is about 45 minutes. Nearby you'll find golf courses, upscale local dining, boutique shopping, and some of the finest artist studios and galleries in the region.
Our guests return year after year, and once you're on that porch watching the sun set over the Blue Ridge, you'll understand why.

Was so nice to return this house for the 4th! It’s one of those porches you really don’t want to leave and was so fun watching the fireworks from the view. The host is so accommodating and hope to come back soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation time at this beautiful property and the views were spectacular. The Merchant home provided us the space and opportunity to have both private areas where we could retreat and amazing common areas, like the large screened porch, where we took in the scenery, enjoyed the cool temperatures, played many games and ate our meals. There were also relaxing times in the beautifully appointed living room and a kitchen abundantly supplied to allow for food preparation and meals around large dining table. While we headed to the mountains for cooler temperatures and a quiet week away from the heat in Tampa the Merchant home was less than an hour drive to many areas like the Biltmore, Hendersonville, the Ciy of Brevard and scenic drives to the water falls in the areas. The best of both worlds. We will agree you need to think ahead and do some shopping as the bigger stores are a bit of a drive if you forget or need something additional.Tom was a very accommodating host and was readily available to answer questions or provide additional information as needed. We thank you and your family for sharing your home with us.

My group and I could not have dreamed of a better place. The space is amazing and so very clean and the kitchen was well stocked so we ate in every night. The views are incredible and the location is prime for waterfall chasing, hiking, antiquing etc. We enjoyed dining and playing games on the porch and used the inside table to do a puzzle.The host was exceptionally prompt with answers to questions. The bedroom configuration was great for our trip which included couples and singles, no children. Simply put you would be hard pressed to find anything wrong and I highly recommend vacationing here.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The view was absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of our trip. The layout of the home was perfect for our group—having multiple bedrooms and bathrooms made everything very comfortable and convenient for everyone.We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly return!
