We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The setting was beautiful with plenty of space, making it a very comfortable place to relax. The home itself had a lot of charm and great potential. That said, it could use some general maintenance—such as fixing the refrigerator’s ice issues and changing the air filters, which seemed overdue. Overall though, it was a very nice stay, and with a little upkeep, it would be perfect.

Lakey Stars was a perfect setup for our family. The house is right across Hilltop park and pool which makes it very convenient to go back and forth between activities and getting the kids situated for meals or naps. The property was clean, though maintenance could be better. Both of the showers were clogged so water would backup which should be an easy fix but not ideal to deal with that for a week. The house is furnished well and each room was perfectly setup. The blackout shades helped to ensure we all had a good nights sleep. There were plenty of toys for the kids and chairs to bring down to the lake. Would have appreciated a better working vacuum. Wouldn't be an issue if we only stayed for a few days, but a week warrants a vacuum with the kiddos and pup. Definitely would recommend, and hope the showers get fixed!

Great location, cute house but definitely have things to improve. The grill was broken. Maintenance guy brought a new one. The master bedroom had a weird stinky smell if you close all the windows. It was coming out from the room with the water heater. Maintenance guy just brought a refresher. Quality of the skillets are bad, everything gets burn super quick. Also, I found a bug in my beach towel.
