Upstairs: This mountain-contemporary home includes a massive open-concept great room. This great room—which includes the living room, floating kitchen, and dining room—features 25-foot ceilings, skylights, custom beams, and an 80-foot wall of windows facing unobstructed panoramic mountain views. You can see 20+ different mountains from the great room; it’s truly one of the best views in all of Colorado! The living room has a cozy gas fireplace with a 75" TV and plenty of comfortable seating for friends and family to gather. The floating chef's kitchen has all the necessary cooking appliances and utensils to ensure a fantastic in-home dining experience. The adjacent dining area provides a grand setting for shared meals, where you can gather around the large table and dine with the 80-foot wall of windows and the most iconic views in Crested Butte as your backdrop. Each of the four bedrooms upstairs has a private attached bathroom and an exterior door with direct access to the wrap-around deck. The expansive 360-degree wraparound deck includes a hot tub, gas grill, and outdoor seating/dining. The office has a computer monitor with keyboard/mouse for easy hookup to your laptop. Enjoy lightning-fast WiFi (500 Mbps) and fantastic cell phone reception throughout the property. Downstairs: The fifth bedroom is located downstairs and is the bunkroom. This room is perfect for kids and has eight total beds (four fulls and four twins) with an attached bathroom. The heated oversized six-car garage has room to park two vehicles during your stay, as well as an EV charger, extra fridge/freezer, exercise equipment, ski racks, and a 24-port boot dryer.

Everything! The house (and its pictures) speak for itself. However, when we actually arrived at the house, it felt like a home and was perfect for our group. Jordan couldn't have been more warm and polite and responsive. The house was very well thought out - the prep area for getting ski gear on, the two washers and dryers, the amazing kitchen/family room/dining area was perfect!

The house and property did not disappoint. The pictures don't do the property or the house justice. Communication with the owner before, during, and after was spot on. We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was nicely stocked considering the location. We really only needed to buy what we wanted to consume while there which was a different experience than other vacation rentals.

Our extended family, ranging in age from 13 to 77, missed out on some special travel this summer, due to the pandemic. We were so excited when we found that this house was available for a few days when we were finally able to safely be together. The house is a perfect size for several generations. Ensuite baths for every bedroom, and a great downstairs bunkroom for the kids, along with a second hangout space. There were lots of great places to pop open a laptop for those who had school/work, including the beautiful office, and the internet connectivity was first rate. Pretty much everything has been thought of, from the hotel-comfortable beds to extensive cooking supplies and pantry basics, from water bottles at the bedsides to a coffee station in the dining room. The open plan main floor is perfect for cocktails and cooking and chatting, and it's an easy few steps out the door to the hot tub for stargazing later in the evening. The decor is bright and modern in the best possible way, and the house takes great advantage of its natural setting, rather than being dark and closed in, as are many mountain houses. The location of the home was perfect for us-- as avid trail runners/hikers/enjoyers of the outdoors, we loved being perched on the mountainside. It was very easy to walk down the road for a short but beautiful hike to Green Lake (nothing better than being to go for a real hike or trail run without having to drive to a trailhead), but it was an easy drive to other great outdoor adventures or to pick up a meal in town. Being up on the mountain on a large piece of property was almost like glamping in the wilderness-- the Milky Way visible to the naked eye, the fox in the yard, the wind in the trees, the quiet-- but with conveniences very nearby.Finally, I cannot finish this review without commenting on the view. All of us have been lucky enough to travel to locations with jaw-dropping mountain views, including the Lauterbrünnen Valley and the Dolomites, and this view was similarly amazing. The house is perfectly sited and architected to allow for hours of mountain- (and star-) gazing. You walk up the stairs into the living space and are greeted with a panorama of peaks, from Gothic Mountain to Mt Crested Butte, and all the mountains along the ridgeline between and behind them. Every single time we walked into the living room, we'd stop and stare. It's very special and absolutely spectacular. A can't miss for lovers of alpine scenery.
