Amazing location, excellent parking. Lots of space and everything we needed. Interior lovely and clean, bedding very good. This property is directly on the river and so not likely to be pristine, not one where you have to take your shoes off once you walk through the door which suited us for a family stay. Lovely relaxed feel to the place. We all agreed we would go again.

Loved the location.
Lovely big open plan dinning/ living area.
The house is a little shabby. The kitchen is very old and not very well equipped.
The decking outside the old patio doors is very worn out and a bit dangerous.

Excellent location
The bedding was very hot for this time of year.

Location - what a view! and the fact you can park 2 cars - great. Beds comfy and clean, Fairly well equipped
The place could do with a bit of TLC....you don`t really expect ripped net curtains , broken windows and dirty blinds..... its a beautiful house, but we were quite cold a lot of the time, , and my friend tried to have a bath, but no hot water running from bath taps , although the showers were very good. The place was fairly clean, but not £95.00 cleaning charge clean.

Location is great.
Property could be more cared for. Windows could be glazed to have more light and view. Mirrors also could add light and view within the property. Did not like having a plastic Christmas tree, feels tacky, environmentally irresponsible, as is some of the other decor.

lock box made it super easy on arrival and departure. unless the owners like to meet their guess I think best way for key
loved being on the river. watching all the rowers in the morning. great neighbors very helpful and friendly. Henley is a very nice place to visit. Chocolate Cafe was awesome too.
for my family husband and young adult kids the beds were a bit tiny for them. 5'7 to 6'3 in height.

The Apartment was self sufficient with a good sized kitchen and all utensils provided. The Location was excellent, the parking on site was amazing, especially in a built up city like Henley on Thames which has very limited public parking. The parking space provided on site was one of the reasons for my booking.
The occupied upper living quarters above our lower apartment section of the house was not very sound insulated and the footsteps of the occupants was clearly audible to us staying below, however I was informed of the fact that the upper section of the house was occupied. An extra tea towel would have been a great addition to the kitchen, one was not enough for a three night stay.

The location on the edge of the river is great
The mattress are cheap and uncomfortable. We could feel the metal springs through the thin soft layer. The furniture is dated and the carpets are have unpleasant odour.

Location is amazing by the water, easy walk to town centre and shops, parking outside the premises a very good size for one large 4X4 and felt secure. Details provided on day of arrival good on how to find and enter the property.
Electric boat was broken and only told on day of arrival, the place is tired all over, old broken furniture/patio doors as previous comments mention, the windows in the kitchen and main bathroom are broken with glass missing, which we did not expect considering the high price, which is mainly for the location and parking space we think. The owners state in the arrival pack they plan to retire there shortly, we sense they are taking the money now and not looking to invest in any refurbishment until they move in. We would not want to stay here in winter as very open plan and only a few radiators but not an issue for our stay in early September.

This property is amazing - the location is to die for. To sit outside every morning for coffee and watch the rowing enthusiasts along with the feathered friends was priceless. The house has everything you need including a piano! What a treat.
I can't think of anything that could have made my stay more enjoyable.

It was very clean, comfortable and great location.
The electric boat is not fit for use over 1 hour of travel. We were very lucky and got a tow from another boat to get back home. Maybe there needs to be a back up power pack to have in the boat for emergencies.

Stunning location with fantastic views. Excellent facilities with easy walk to shops and the charming centre of Henley-On-Thames. Very well appointed, warm, cosy,
comfy beds. Great for a family break. The photos don’t do the space and view justice.

The building is beautiful. The accommodation is the lower level of a huge old house. It is in prime position in Henley-on-Thames, right on the regatta area. It has direct access to the river via a patio door and decking. Parking outside for two small or reasonable sized cars. The town centre is but a few minutes walk away. Lots of pubs, restaurants and cafes. Lots of shops. Beautiful walks along towpaths or pavements beside a beautiful area of the Thames. Very comfortable beds and good heating system for the colder weather. 3 decent sized bedrooms, one en suite, with a further bathroom. We were very unfortunate with the weather but still sat out on the decking area during breaks in the rain, also for some time whilst it rained. Also lovely to see dozens of rowers practising each day of the weekend right outside.
Nothing really. Others mention that inside is looking a little tired, maybe, but overall the building and standard is totally comfortabke and accetable.
