About this cottage rental
Footprints in the Sand is a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage that will sleep 7. The cozy cottage is ideally located on the beautiful north shore of Prince Edward Island, home to many of the Island's most treasured beaches.
In the master bedroom you will find a queen size bed, the other main bedroom contains two twin beds, while the third and smallest bedroom contains a twin daybed. In the living room, there is a brand new high quality couch that converts to a pull-out bed. Each bed comes with fresh bed linens and all bedrooms are equipped with alarm clocks. Also available is a playpen for those needing to accommodate babies/toddlers.
In the bathroom, you will find a full size shower/tub, with removable shower nozzle to make showering kids easy. Fresh towels and facecloths are supplied and are located under the bathroom sink.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to make yourself at home, including fridge, glass top stove, dishwasher and microwave, pots/pans, bakeware, utensils, dinnerware, coffee maker, toaster, etc. While in the laundry room you find a washer and dryer. Also, some staples are provided such as toilet paper, paper towel coffee, tea, sugar, etc.
As frequent travellers ourselves, we know the benefits of travelling as light as possible and so we have aimed to equip the cottage as best as possible for arriving guests. Beach towels, beach chairs, beach blankets, beach toys, children's books, lego, puzzles and marshmallow roasting sticks are some of the things you will find. We have also supplied a large pot, great for cooking the Island's famous lobsters, and BBQ.
Outside a spacious yard awaits. Spend some time relaxing on the front or back deck, or take in some time at the firepit in the backyard. Summer vacation is simply not complete without some roasted marshmallows.

We had a great week on the island. The property was great and very well located with just a short walk to an amazing beach.
The cottage was very well maintained and the owners had thought of everything that you could possible need.
It’s definitely on our list as a place to return too. Thanks.

My family had a great time. The beach is a 10 minute walk away and is by far one of the best beaches on the island, especially if you have a dog. We were 2 adults and 2 teenagers and there was more than enough space for us in the house. The 2 decks were nice because if it was too hot on one side of the house you could switch to the other one. Michelle had all the amenities on hand that you need such as toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning supplies. Thanks for a great vacation Michelle!
