Mid Century Modern Resort Pool, few minutes from downtown. Great mountain views

Great stay at this property. Kitchen had everything needed and more to eat and cook. New appliances, nice big fridge. Comfortable beds, nice bedding. Traveled with husband and to adult kids. Each had own bedroom and bathroom. Property says up to eight guests and eight would fit comfortably when sharing beds, as there was a bunk bed that was was easily queen sized in one of the bedrooms. We used the outdoor space every day. Plenty of pool loungers, bar seating, dining table and chairs, chairs at fire table and an outdoor couch area. It cost 125 per day to heat the pool, which we paid for. The spa is heated for free. Both were clean and worked great. We took our own pool loungers and used them every day. A heated pool allows for great night swimming while gazing at the stars. The back of the house offered great Mountain Views as well. The location was central to all the things we wanted to experience and the neighborhood felt safe. Overall, I would recommend.

Great stay all around! House was perfect! Nice layout and great outdoor space. Super close to downtown which we walked. Loved coffee poolside every morning and evening sunset. Would definitely return.

The whole process was seamless and the communication was excellent. The home is beautiful with an awesome view of the mountains and a backyard that provided hours of fun for the whole family! We will definitely come again when we are visiting Palm Springs. Thank you!

Was originally drawn to the listing because of the excellent ratings but this is really an average property, not in a great neighborhood. It's not far from downtown Palm Springs—about a 10 minute drive—but not within walking distance and it seemed a bit transient with an apartment building next door and some vacant lots. The home is pleasant enough but it's pretty weathered from use. The couch is quite worn, the paper blinds don't work and were pretty dusty/dirty and the ice maker in the fridge was not functioning. The hot water heater went out twice during our stay. The host was responsive and had a plumber come out twice but eventually had to replace the entire unit. The host also promised renumeration for the inconvenience but that never materialized. I would recommend more effort in upkeep and the host performing a walk-through of the property before guests arrive just to make sure everything's in order.
