This short-term vacation rental is a sun-drenched mid-century charmer, built by Alexander Construction company back in 1959. This home features post and beam architecture, a rock fireplace, comfortable home furnishings, and plenty of colorful decor throughout.
If you're looking for a perfect example of the Palm Springs indoor-outdoor lifestyle, then make The Francis Alexander your next desert vacation hot spot. You and your guests will walk into the vintage style living room where you'll find fabulous yesteryear and modern furnishings that blend nicely against the wall of glass looking outside to the pool area.
With an open floor plan, it`s easy to enjoy dining and entertaining with friends and family. The kitchen has been fully renovated with new cabinets, appliances, quartz countertops, a beautiful backsplash, and a tiled wall. It is supplied with everything you need to cook a gorgeous meal and just a few steps away you'll enjoy the colorful dining area that sits eight.
Off the dining room is another living area, colorfully decorated with a comfortable sofa, a pass-through fireplace, and some marvelous décor that'll entertain your group. Step outside to the patio and sit under the misters while enjoying a cocktail with friends, or float in the saltwater pool enjoying the warm sun. The eight-foot-deep pool has two in pool seats in the deep end and shallow seating the full width of the pool. Not to forget the above ground hot tub that'll soothe your entire body after a long day of exploring the Coachella Valley.
The first guest bedroom can be found just off the living room. This bedroom retreat provides your guest with a Queen size bed, television, and direct access to the pool area. The other three bedrooms are located on the other side of the house. Each of the two guest bedrooms provide a Queen size bed, ceiling fan, television, and ample storage for all your vacation clothes. The three guest bedrooms share the bathroom located in the hallway which features a shower/tub combo. The primary bedroom features a King size bed, ceiling fan, television, en-suite bathroom, and direct access to the pool.
Outside you and your guests will discover paradise! The larger saltwater pool is the epic center of the yard, and yes, it's as refreshing as it looks – get ready to make a splash. When you're not enjoying the pool, you can ignite the natural gas bbq and have a cookout. When the day becomes night, you'll enjoy the fire pit that sits amongst a large patio sectional. There's also ample sitting underneath the patio cover where you'll find a table for outdoor dining – now that's how you live the Palm Springs lifestyle.

This vacation rental is located in a peaceful and tranquil residential neighborhood perfect for your next poolside getaway. In order to keep the tranquility of the community, we ask that you be respectful and mindful of your neighbors while on vacation. These homeowners have made this home available to share with responsible groups that will treat the home and neighborhood with respect.
In order to maintain the highest quality of our homes and the peace and quiet of our neighborhoods, all guests must adhere to the city and house rules. The city prohibits music and loud noise. The city strictly enforces these rules and prohibits parties, events, music, street parking, and disruptive guests. No music is allowed at any time. Quiet hours are between 9:00pm and 10:00am and guests are asked to be inside and mindful of neighbors. Overnight guests shall not exceed the property's posted occupancy.

Friendly Reminder: Optional pool heat is available at an additional cost of $69 nightly or $345 weekly. Pool heat is recommended October thru May. For this, we will preheat your pool and ensure it is heated upon your arrival to a comfortable 86 degrees. Additionally, you will have access to heat the above ground hot tub to 102 degrees at no additional cost.

I gave this a 5 star rating because Pool side Rentals were terrific. The misters did not work and they were prompt in coming out to fix it. It still leaked on one side and i hate wasting water. It pooled and did not drain. They also brought us some treats. Very responsiveLoved the pool as it was big, but the outdoor patio area is in need of repair and was really dirty. The rug under the table falling apart and pretty filthy. Kitchen was great, but lacked baggies, foil and saran wrap.I have been to Palm Springs and rented a few places. The house was a bit dark and not the kind of retro place i assumed it was. Beds a bit too soft and who needs super duper heavy comforters in the summer. Bathrooms pretty tiny with only tubs. So overall i would say its a 4 star. I thought the description said there was view of the mountains. Yep if you stood up in back yard. TV was great to watch movies. Areas of the house have deferred maintenance.
