This 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home rests on the majestic SW Mich Lakeshore, and has 350 feet of private beach! Wake up to fantastic views of Lake Michigan, play on the sandy beach all day and toast the tremendous sunsets each evening. The home is located in Higman Park, a charming neighborhood on two hilltops with frontage on the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan, just a mile north of St. Joseph and only 90 minutes from Chicago. The second level deck is the perfect place to watch the sun set over Lake Michigan.
This home is well equipped for your beach comforts! Beach chairs, umbrella, toys are supplied. Please bring your own beach towels!
There are 2 grills available! Choose Charcoal or Gas grill for your dining needs!
If you want to take an adventure through the area, you will find 12+ wineries, 26 golf courses, award-winning microbreweries. U-pick farms, children museum and carousel, 3 casinos and numerous music venues. There are so many things to do that you will wish that you had more than a week*.

Cancellation Policy
If Guest wishes to cancel his/her reservation, the deposit will be refunded as follows:
90% refunded if canceled 180 days prior to the Check-in Date
75% refunded if canceled 90 days prior to the Check-in Date
50% refunded if canceled 60 days prior to the Check-in Date
0% refunded if canceled 30 days prior to the Check-in Date
Full payment will be charged if canceled less than 30 days prior to the Check-in Date

Property was beautiful. The house had old charm that you don’t find anymore, but with modern conveniences. House was supplied with everything you need for a terrific stay. Views of Lake Michigan from the property were breathtaking. The steps down to the beach became quite the adventure but oh what memories we have to laugh about. Highly recommend staying here. So close to our favorite town, St Joe’s.

We greatly enjoyed our long weekend at your property in Benton Harbor. My two adult children and their spouse, along with my two grandchildren, aged 1 and 5 had an excellent stay. We used to travel to St Joe/Benton Harbor every summer when my children were growing up. My daughter now lives in California and wanted to share the lake experience with her children. We really lucked out with the weather! The lake was a perfect temperature. We utilized the water toys and appreciated that they were all blown up and ready to go. The little ones enjoyed the backyard for whiffle ball and our littlest one had fun in the playhouse. Plenty of room inside for everyone and the air conditioning did the job even in the heat of the day. Thank you for a great setting for our family to connect.

The property was everything we expected and more. We loved the views and the private beach in the current environment was just what we needed. The home is older, but very comfortable and the neighbor was wonderful to visit with. The playhouse was particularly nice for our almost 3 grandaughter. She loved it The steps to the beach were nearby and very manageable for all adults and the youngster as well. This place was just what we needed.
