About this cabin rental
"Bear Foot Boogie" is a beautiful cozy 2 bed, 2 bath log cabin with a lot of extra amenities provided Free to our guests, nestled in the 24/7 Guard gated community of the Shagbark Resort in a great location! You are literally 2 turns and 6 miles (only 10 minutes) from the Shagbark guard gate to the main parkway in Pigeon Forge and you come out at light #3 which is Wears Valley Rd., right in the middle of everything in Pigeon Forge! Something Great about the Shagbark Resort is all of the cabins are on at least 1/2 acre lots, so they are not stacked on top of each other like some resorts are!
The main level has the living room with a sleeper sofa, 2 comfy chairs (1 reclining), a beautiful stone gas burning fireplace (in season Oct. 1st until April 30th), a large flat screen TV, a 2 player 60 game video arcade table set on Free play, the open very well stocked kitchen with a beautiful 7 ft log table with log chairs and a bench that seats 6-7 people, one of the bedrooms with a King size log bed, a full bath (with plush towels), and the laundry room with a full size washer & dryer (we provide your liquid laundry soap, Downy, and dryer sheets).
There's a wide staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom and bathroom. This 2nd bedroom also has a king log bed, a long cushioned built in bench, and a spacious jetted tub.
Both bedrooms are large and easy to move around in. After a long day of visiting sites or shopping, you can relax under the stars in the private hot tub on the wrap around deck. This cabin truly has everything to make your vacation one of the best in the Smoky Mountains!

Our host Rod was amazing! We didn’t physically meet him but the communication we had felt like we were friends for years. He even checked in on us every so often…and gave us some extra time for check out. We were there for 4 nights. Another couple was with us so the 2 king size bedrooms and each of us having our own bathroom was amazing. Was an amazing getaway cabin secluded in a gated community Rick in the mountain. Loved every minute and highly recommend this place. Will come back again for sure! Thanks Rod!

Ron and Jennifer were very responsive from the time we booked the cabin and throughout the stay. The cabin was very relaxing. The gated security entrance/exit made us feel very safe. The cabin is very well stocked with pretty much everything you need for your stay.

The cabin wasSpotless and so welcoming. The owner was so helpful and nice we knew if we had any questions he was a call away to answer our questions.Highly recommend this property.

We had a great time celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary in this cabin. The cabin was very clean & was nicely furnished. The furniture & beds were very comfortable. The hosts did a great job making sure the kitchen had all the essentials without cluttering the cupboards & drawers with impractical items. Bakeware & cookware were of high quality which isn’t always the case in rentals. Although this cabin is near the main clubhouse & pool it felt very private. The hot tub provided a great view of the foothills. Rod reached out a few times during our stay to make sure everything was going well. It was nice to know he was just down the road in case we ran into any issues. We have stayed at many cabins in this area & would definitely return to this cabin again.
