Swimming pool area could be tidier

A beautiful property right in the heart of Jerez, literally footsteps from the Plaza Arenal yet you feel like you are in an oasis of calm. It’s a unique experience staying in the palace and the rooms are decorated sumptuously. Yes, there is no breakfast provided but that gives you chance to go and dine with the locals at breakfast. And even though there is no front desk, the hall and assistance from the manager is second to none. Lots of information sent through beforehand about where to go and what to book - we booked ahead at Tabanco El Pasaje for an excellent night of flamenco, at Bodegas Tradicion for what was probably the best wine tour we’ve ever done and at La Carbona for fine dining. Highly recommended for a stay in Jerez if you want something authentic.

Historical building. Unfortunately no tours on a Monday and early departure meant we could not avail of it. Great location in Jerez

We were offered an upgrade to a superior room which we gladly accept. However on closer inspection the room was very.dusty, the tiles in bathroom not cleaned but worst of all was the green scum in the coffee machine. Everything needs a deep clean
