Poplar Lodge is a fantastic space for family groups as well as sporting groups and friends. Located in the heart of historic Arrowtown, the lodge is just a minutes walk from the centre of town. Garden with BBQ, central heating to keep you warm in winter, off street parking for up to 5 cars. Hike or bike from the front door, into the hills or along the Queenstown Trail (over 100kms of trails - choose a different route each day!)

The lodge is ideal for family groups, reunions, weddings and sporting groups (especially cyclists as we are located right by the Queenstown Trail - bike hire available with Arrowtown Bike Hire which is located just outside the back gate). Also great for 2 or 3 families to save money by renting one property.

Kitchen with a range of appliances is set up to cater for groups of all sizes. Full size fridge plus full size fridge freezer, 2 microwaves, 2 sinks, dishwasher and oven. Plenty of plate, cutlery, pots etc to suit larger groups.

Keep warm in winter with central heating - come home to a warm cosy house at the end of a day of activities. Winter weight duvets, blankets and electric blankets.

Back garden is fenced. BBQ and outdoor furniture.

Enjoy eating out in one of the towns many cafes and restaurants, or relax with a glass of wine at one of the regions vineyards which are just few minutes drive away. Picturesque Lake Hayes is a 5 minute drive away - you can walk round it, bike round it, swim in it or just picnic beside it.

Arrowtown is centrally located to the four skifields in the Queenstown area.

Remarkables - 30 minute drive
Cardrona - 40 minute drive
Treble Cone - 1 hours drive

Arrowtown is the hub for the Queenstown Trail with many of the cycling trails starting and finishing in the town. The trail offers over 100kms of tracks with rides for all abilities and ages. There are plenty of walking tracks around the town, again catering for all abilities and ages.

The area is fantastic for a family holiday with activities for children of all ages - we are happy to make suggestions. Day trips to Queenstown, Wanaka or Glenorchy are recommended.

Special conditions:
Check in after 4pm, or earlier by prior arrangement. Check out 10am.
No smoking inside the property.
Pets not permitted inside the property.
No tents in the garden.
No parties.
The lodge must be left tidy on departure with all furniture as you found it.
We are happy to clean the bathrooms, vacuum and remake beds when you leave.
However we ask that you leave the kitchen clean and tidy and take all sheets off the beds.
If the check out instructions (provided in the house manual) are not followed and the lodge requires additional cleaning there may be an extra charge.
