Our stay was pleasant and relaxing. The house is situated in the centre of a small village. By car you can reach the beautiful, clean beaches of Normandy in about 10 minutes. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The house is clean; the price/performance ratio was right for us. Unfortunately, you can easily hear noise through the light room ceilings.

Lovely quaint house in the small village of Besneville. The property owner lived next door and was very hospitable and accommodating. She greeted us upon arrival and left us a homemade cake which was delicious. There is a small store and bar across the street with all basics perfect for our first breakfast and last night Dinner. DONT FORGET TO ORDER THE CROISSANT'S ! Simply the best any of us had ever had. The town and its residents are warm, friendly and helpful. A gentlemen on our arrival bought us a round of beers thanking us for our military service and our grandfathers giving France its liberation. We would all return again!

Despite a very delayed and late arrival the owner of the house gave us a very warm welcome and a tasty homemade cake. The house was simply beautiful, it was like being home from home. The house contained everything needed for our stay. The village is small and quiet, it has a small grocery right opposite the house which is great for basic needs. The village is a 10 minutes car drive away from some of the most stunning beaches, supermarkets and activity centres. We spent half a day river kayaking (very reasonably priced) and visited some beautiful castles and monts. We are a family of 10 with the youngest child being 10 and can honestly say the area and house had something for all of us. Our only complaint would be the squeaky floors which had a lack of insulation, but once you get over it it adds to the character of the house. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for an amazing holiday!

The house was easy to find and set in a small village with grocers just opposite. The house was clean and beautifully decorated and very spacious. The owner met and welcomed us and had made a cake :) The house was well stocked with everything imaginable. It was within easy reach of attractions too. Highly recommend this property

Wij hebben met ons gezin van 6 personen een fijne vakantie gehad. De woning is erg netjes en ruim opgezet. De eigenaar spreekt geen Engels (en ik spreek geen Frans). De eigenaar heeft gezorgd dat er een Engels sprekend persoon bij de betrekking en het verlaten van het huis aanwezig was, dat was fijn. In het dorpje is een mini supermarkt/bar met terras, handig voor het stokbrood en dergelijke in de morgen. De eigenaar woont in het huis er naast, als er vragen zijn helpen ze direct. Ik zou hier weer heen gaan en deze vakantiewoning aanbevelen. Het huis is centraal gelegen, bezienswaardigheden zijn 10-60 minuten rijden. Altijd je handdoek en zwembroek meenemen! Leuke restaurantjes gevonden met iedere keer vriendelijke mensen. Brocante, kanoen in het dorp verderop en een museum mag ook niet ontbreken.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis, dans une maison très propre par la fille des propriétaires. Un quatre-quarts délicieux ainsi qu'un jus de fruit et du cidre nous attendaient. La maison est spacieuse, très bien équipée et le poêle fonctionne à merveille. Notre seul regret, n'être restés que deux petits jours pour découvrir la région qui regorge de sites, de points de vues. Il ne nous reste plus qu'à revenir!

Une belle maison mais des désagréments à cause des planchers et des portes qui grincent et des chasse d eau qui fuient. L accueil a été agréable et l’équipement très complet nous avions tout ce qu il nous fallait vélo jeux salon de jardin dans une décoration soignée.

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits à 10 (6 adultes et 4 enfants), la maison a répondu largement à nos attentes : beaucoup d'espace dans les parties communes et les chambres. 3 salles de bains très fonctionnelles. Un espace extérieur idéal pour manger sous le soleil de Normandie. Le tout bien entretenu et propre. Bref je recommande. Un accueil chaleureux avec des petites attentions ;-)

nous avons séjourné dans cette ancienne boucherie pendant le week end du 19 mai 2018 au 21 mai 2018 .les propriétaires sont très gentils.le gite a été vraiment bien décoré ,très bon gout et conforme aux photos sur le site .lors de notre arrivée un cake a l'orange et une bouteille de cidre nous attendaient.je recommande vivement ce gite.
