About this apartment rental

The studio-flat is located in a quiet district with all amenities and only 300 metres from Pablo Picasso's birthplace on the edge of the city's pedestrian precinct. The Alcazaba, the Roman Theatre, the Picasso Museum, the Thyssen Museum, the cathedral and the renowned Calle Larios are all less than 10 minutes away on foot, and the nearest beach 20 minutes. It is a real advantage to be able to enjoy to the full and close to hand such important occasions in the city as Holy Week or the August Fair without the undesirable noise of the festivities. With the Cervantes Theatre within 200 metres it is also well placed for those who want to enjoy Malaga's Cinema Festival. It is situated on the 1st floor of a 2-storey building with a lift. It is ideal for two adults, but there is room for 3 people. It has a comfortable double bed (1,50 x 2,00 m.) and a 90-centimetre-wide bed or a travel-cot if your child is under 2 years old. For your clothes there is a 3-metre-wide, well-fitted wardrobe and a shoe-cabinet. The accommodation includes entry-surveillance to the building by video-camera, air-conditioning, heating, television, a safe and Wifi internet connection. The kitchen is practical and well equipped. The bathroom has a large shower with a glass screen.

I stayed 3 weeks while attending Spanish school in the historical centre. The location is fantastic. Everything you need is within a 10min walk, including bike rental. The apartment is small and comfortable for a solo traveller. The glass doors open to the outside, but there is no view, there is a rack to hang out laundry. The outside area is a small inner square of outside walls of the building.

Our month in this charming Malaga apartment was exceptional. Ideal for couples, this cozy space quickly became home. Our host, Ángel, exemplified hospitality. He provided a thorough tour of the apartment and also fulfilled a special pre-arrival request enhancing our work comfort along with valuable local insights of Malaga. The immaculately clean apartment was surprisingly well-equipped. Multiple towels, cleaning supplies, toiletries, and a fully stocked kitchen with thoughtful additions like shopping bags and beach umbrella, cooler bag and ice packs made our stay incredibly convenient. Location is a major highlight. A 5-minute walk to Malaga's main plazas and historic center, with the beach just 20 minutes away. The incline road on return walk is worth noting but manageable. The building's elevator was a blessing for our luggage. Ample storage allowed us to fully unpack and settle in. Comprehensive amenities, from laundry facilities to hair styling tools, catered to all needs. If we could suggest one improvement, it would be adding an air fryer to complement the electric stove and microwave/grill. However, this didn't detract from our experience. Leaving was bittersweet. For couples seeking a comfortable, well-located base in Malaga, especially for extended stays, we wholeheartedly recommend this property. It's perfect for 1-2 people, and we're already looking forward to returning!

Angel as the owner of the studio is definitely what you name a super host. He takes care of his studio and all its guests in a very professional manner. Though not big the studio has everything what might be needed during your stay. The place is very quiet, well organized and in an absolutely clean condition. For another stay in Malaga I would decide immeditely again for this studio. Thank you very much again Angel for your hospitality.

Angel was a super host. Excellent communication. The studio was lovely, super clean, supplied everything you could need, and was conveniently located. Stayed for a month, within short walking distance of almost everything including public bus transportation. Highly recommended.

angel the manager bends over backwards to make certain that your stay is comfortable and will even call a taxi for you if you need one. the apartment is very secure behind a thick door and the building has an elevator that opens at your front door. Many attractions within easy walking distance and a supermarket within a five minute walk. Everything is as near perfect as one could find in Malaga.

Did my 1st solo travel and decided to book this appartement for 10nights. Honestly I couldn’t of been happier with the cleanliness, location and amenities. Very accessible, close by to the center, buses are within 5minutes as well. I walked everywhere easily, as per example, to the Muelle Uno is only 25mins walk. The appartement is not dead on in the center so it’s very quiet..you can get a good night sleep. I felt very safe throughout my entire stay! Grocery store is close as well as a few good restaurants. I only travel with carry on so I was surprised to find everything I needed in case I ran out of stuff (shampoo, conditioner, hairspray, gel, hairdryer, straightener, iron board, umbrella, reusable grocery bags, ice cube trays, wine opener, Tupperware containers, Saran Wrap etc!) The owner was also very flexible on check-in time which facilitated everything for me. He responds to messages very fast and helps you out with anything needed during your stay (I borrowed an adapter, mine broke) The apartment is SPOTLESS! The cleanest I’ve seen during my travels and appliances are brand new! I would definitely recommend this place hands down!

I stayed for two weeks at Angel's place, a quiet and clean small apartment close to Malaga's old town. The apartment was nicely equipped with several new and good-quality appliances, and everything worked as promised. Also, getting to know Angel was great, and he had several excellent tips for visiting the city.

The apartment was spotless and very well organised. Angel met us with the keys and explained how to use items in the apartment. The bed was very comfortable and there was a good shower. It is a short walk 5 minutes or so to the centre or to the Plaza de la Merced. It is around 15 minutes walk to get to the marina/harbour. Felt really safe and at ease walking around the area. There were some beach parasols in the apartment (we only needed one) and also an umbrella which was very useful on one day. A large supermarket is less than 5 minutes walk away and Angel provided shopping bags and a shopping trolley: there are several small ‘corner shops’ in the area. We would happily stay here again when visiting Malaga.

We can’t imagine a better place to discover Malaga. The appartement exceeded all our expectations! The location is perfect with everything within a 5 to 10 minutes walk. We even had a rental car and it wasn’t any problem to find a free parking place in the environment. The appartement has all you need for a perfect stay. It’s clean, it’s well equipped and it’s quiet, despite of the location that’s so near the center of Malaga. We spent 15 nights and didn’t miss anything. Big compliments for Angel, the owner, who’s very committed and involved to make your stay as good as possible. If we ever come back to Malaga we’ll definitely choose the same appartement again!

Ángel’s studio was perfect for us. It was just 10 minutes walk to Malaga cathedral and centre of town, had everything we needed to cook a simple meal - although Malaga has so many tapas bars and wonderful restaurants that we mostly ate out. It was bright, immaculately clean, and had 2 Juliette balconies with a rack to hang towels / washing out to dry.

Good location. About 10 to15 minutes walk from the Centre. A secure quiet studio apartment with good WiFi, comfortable bed, good shower, lots of storage space, and a very adequate kitchen. The host met us at the apartment and was very friendly and most helpful. He responded very quickly when we asked him a question about the workings of the kitchen appliance. There was a good supermarket and a couple of nice understated local bars very near. The apartment was bright and modern and had everything we needed. His recommended taxi company for the airport was spot on.

The property is exactly as in the picture. Exceptional location, close to 2 supermarkets and in the middle of historic district. The bus stop 10 minutes walk. Close to the port with markets and drinking places. The property is perfect for a single person or couple. Has 2 nice big windows, unfortunately with inside patio view. Lots of light but no sunshine. Very well equipped but with so many eateries close by, cooking seems unnecessary. There is a greengrocer nearby were tomatoes taste like tomatoes! Altogether a 10+

Just as the reviews say and a good night's sleep. One helpful tip for you.....just in back of the place is the C1 circular bus run. The stop is at the Jorge Rando Museum, just two blocks away. Save your feet for cheap!

Nous venons de passer deux semaines au studio de Angel. Tout était parfait ! L`appartement est très bien situé en bordure de la vieille ville de Malaga. Tout est à 5 - 10 minutes de marche que ce soit la Place de la Constitution, la place Merced, la rue principale, le marché le port etc,,, Il y a un épicerie tout près et on y retrouve de tout. Le studio est d'une propreté remarquable avec toute ce qu'il faut. Il est très lumineux malgré le fait qu'il donne sur une cour intérieur. C'est un endroit très paisible. Les photos rendent bien l'aménagement et la propreté du studio. Tout est fonctionnel. Angel est très sympatique et facile à rejoindre. Il nous a donné de l`information très utile don des suggestions de restaurants avec une description de chacun ce qui nous a été très utile et judicieux. nous en avons essayé plusieurs et ses commentaires nous ont bien servis. Nous anticipons déjà de réserver pour l'an prochain

Only small downside is that the air conditioning was emanating a bad smell the first few seconds after switching it on, but it's not a big deal

The apartment is in an excellent position if you want to sample the real streets of Malaga. Excellent bars and restaurants right on your doorstep in the new up and coming area of the city whilst very close to the historic centre. The apartment is compact with all the essential items you require for a comfortable stay. Angel has achieved such a good use of space. We stayed there over a five month period and found the apartment to be cool in the hot weather and very warm in the winter months. Angel is a perfect host welcoming us when we arrived and making the special effort to say goodbye to us personally on our departure.

This cosy studio is located about 10 minutes walk from the city center. Around the vicinity are plenty of restaurants and a nice square where you can get pizza for a very cheap price. The owner, Ángel, of the property took extreme care of the studio and it was very clean on our arrival. There were also useful amenities that we were free to use. Ángel and his wife responded very swiftly to our needs and questions. Overall, a very nice and cosy stay.

Based on posted reviews of this property, I booked it for the Christmas holiday and am so glad that I did. Prior to the visit, Angel offered great information about the flat, was quick to respond to questions, and was a pleasure to work with. He continued to offer great service as he picked me up from the airport and dropped me back (for a 6:30 a.m. flight, no less!). The apartment was exactly as advertised: clean, functional, close enough both to the downtown and the train station for day-trips, but far enough away that there weren't noise issues. As a woman traveling alone, I always felt safe in the neighborhood and studio. If I ever travel to Malaga again, I will return to this flat.

We spent two months in the apartment and our stay was more than perfect. The apartment is adjacent to the Historic Centre where you can walk to visit all the museums and monuments that offers Malaga.The apartment is modern decorated, very clean and very well equipped. Courtesy of Angel is unrivaled. Besides the fact that he waited at the airport when we arrived, when we left although it was very early in the morning he was kind enough to accompany us to the airport. We'll recommend this apartment to everybody who want to visit Malaga.
