Hollywood actor's home- amazing location, spacious villa , magnificent gardens

The sweetest most serviceminded host and a fantastic house. The rooms are as described with own bathrooms to each room. 3 rooms with direct access to the swimmingpool.

5th september 2022, just back from a wonderful stay at VILLA GEZANNE near BIOT, FRANCE, spacious villa with everything you need, and a lot of things you don't need, welcoming hosts who worked around our arrival time, could not have asked for more, thanks Briane

The Villa Gezanne is truly heaven in the hills. How can you top waking up every morning to the sweet fresh air that pours into the house when you open the French doors to the terrace and catch the view to the left of the verdant mountainsides and to the right, the Mediterranean Sea! It’s just perfect. Close to the bakery for fresh croissant and pastries, close to the supermarket for supplies and the tastiest strawberries, close to several towns…Valbonne and Biot for dinners and market days. It is an ideal location . Trips to Nice, lunch on the beach at Cannes, Shopping in Antibes….all are within an hour ride. Equally close are Mougins, St. Paul de Vence, and other places of interest in and around the coast. The house is wonderful for lounging and enjoyment. The pool is spectacular and the fact that each bedroom has its own private bath makes it ideal for enjoying the time with friends and family. It is even better than the description. And, to top it all off there are no better, kinder, warmer , more helpful than Briane and her amazing mother Marian. My husband and I had a bad fall while in Nice before coming to the Villa and Briane and Marian took us under their wing until family came the next day. We will be grateful to them for their kindness forever! If you have the opportunity, stay at Villa Gezanne. It’s truly heaven in the hills.

My family and I had a great time staying here. The property and the pool provided plenty of space for 8 of us plus a baby. Briane was very communicative both before our holiday and during and even sent back to us items we left behind. Would highly recommend this villa to others and would definitely go back.

Absolutely wonderful stay at this magnificent villa. The home is beautiful, clean and comfortable. We were a group of 5 adults and the place felt so spacious! The grounds and pool were beautiful. Morning coffee on the terrace, watching the sunrise. Afternoon pool time with a glass of lovely French wine. Evenings on the terrace enjoying dinner and the beautiful lighting and peace of the property. I would highly recommend this property. All communications were prompt and informative. A true pleasure to have had the opportunity to stay here. Gezanne is a truly magical place.

10/10. Villa Gezanne is such a very unique place, we all loved the atmosphere of this authentic villa. We were a group of 8 (4 couples) and had all the space we needed. The swimming pool is huge and the garden is beautifully landscaped to give you this extra luxurious holiday feeling.. We spent every evening dinner at the house -because of the homely vibe- and enjoyed the terrace upstairs. (Little remark: The kitchen is fully equiped but sometimes we missed a few larger pots to cook dinner for big groups!) Biot is very well located to visit other villages (Valbonne, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Grasse, Mougins,..) & is also close to the sea: On Fridays we rented a boat in Antibes and had a great day at sea. We were warmly welcomed by the charming 'lady of the house' Marian, she lives next door & is always available for all questions. Communication with her daughter Briane, prior to our journey, was also very nice. Grateful for this relaxing week! Grace & Lovely ;-)

We were blown away over this house. It has the charming french style, the rooms are big and there are more bathrooms than bedrooms. Big livingarea inside, large kitchen and a fantastic terrace with view to the Cote de Azur and the montains. From 3 bedrooms direct access to the large swimmingpool and the beautiful garden. So sweet people to rent from (living next door, but you dont even notice). Only 12-15 minutes drive to the ocean. Supermarket, baker and restaurant only 1 km away from the house. The town Biot nearby, with charming streets and great dining. The best house we have ever rented!

We were a group with two older teens and three adults, and all thoroughly enjoyed our week at Villa Gezanne. The house is lovely with plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and well equipped, particularly in the kitchen. Lots of charm throughout the property, beautiful gardens and lovely views of the hills and the sea. We particularly enjoyed the large terrace and sitting in the shade of the magnolia tree next to the pool. The bedrooms are spacious and with good AC, and the mattresses very comfortable . Our welcome was wonderful, and our host was on hand in the house next door, if we needed assistance with anything. There is a good supermarket 3 minutes away in the car, next to a boulangerie and pharmacy, and the coast is around 20-25 minutes away. All made for a relaxing and very easy stay. We were incredibly fortunate to find this lovely property where eight of us spent the week. Everything was just perfect! Spacious and inviting, we spent our days swimming in the pool, lounging on the deck and admiring the beautiful views. Trips to Biot, Valbonne, Antibes and Monte Carlo were fun, and the shopping and restaurants were awesome but we always looked forward to returning to Villa Gezanne. The old Hollywood vibe permeates this amazing Villa with its gorgeous well-maintained grounds. Briane was beyond helpful in the most unobtrusive way and couldn’t have been any sweeter ... we all adored her! This will be a vacation to remember! Thank you again Briane!!

We stayed for a week and enjoyed this villa immensely. It is huge and well equipped. Pool was clean and heated enough to make it comfortable for the kids to be in for long periods. Briane and family live adjacent to the villa but quite separate and privacy was assured. Close to a supermarket and 10 mins from beautiful Valbonne. We hope to be back.

We all had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Villa, the only regret was that we only booked one week! The Villa is so spacious, much bigger than you would expect from the photos, with a newly fitted kitchen and ensuite bathrooms to all bedrooms. The terrace with views on to the Mediterranean and Antibe were stunning and the pool and terraced gardens kept the children and adults alike, endlessly entertained. 5 minutes from the supermarket, 5 minutes from the beautiful Biot and 20 minutes drive from the picture perfect town of Antibe. The property Managers Briane and her Mother, who conveniently lives next door, were always on hand to assist when needed, and helped to make sure we had an amazing holiday. We would definitely recommend this Villa to anyone looking for a quiet private retreat, located within easy reach of the hustle and bustle of Antibes, Cannes and Nice.

We all slept so well! Our group of 6 adults and 2 children found all rooms to be really spacious with most rooms having a walk in wardrobe / dressing room and lovely big en suites. Briane and her family were warm and welcoming and communication was easy and prompt in the weeks leading up to the holiday. She was incredibly quick to respond to an issue with the oven, getting it resolved within 10 minutes. We were also so grateful for her help when we had to take our 2 year old to the doctor. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this property, it was perfect.

The house was perfect for us, a group of friends, for relaxing and exploring the surrounding area and cities along the coast and up the mountains. It was a quiet neighbourhood and a short drive to the closest supermarket and restaurant. The pool was warm (or cold) enough and the house had everything we needed. Briane was a lovely hostess.

From the moment we drove into the private driveway, we knew we had chosen the right place for our family group of two grandparents, three adult chidren, two spouses, and two young children. Briane, who lives next door, showed us round the property and invited us to treat the house as our home for the week. With a more than full stock of cups, saucers, glasses, plates , cutlery, pots, pans, board games, white goods, towels, ping pong table, etc, etc, we wished our homes were as well equipped! She told us that she was always available if needed for anything, but, actually, everything went so smoothly that we only had a few friendly chats in passing, during the week. The heated swimming pool, with its fascinating underwater roving pool cleaner, was simply beautiful and large enough for good swimmers to do their lengths for the day. Because of the young children, we left the removable safety fence around the pool at all times, simply opening a panel for access whenever an adult was swimming. (The pool is quite deep except at the steps, so non-swimmers and children obviously need to be closely supervised.) As for the location, the view from the large balcony overlooking the pool and the gardens is beautiful. A car (or two) is a vital necessity, (even for trips to the shops and local villages, owing to the lack of footpaths), and enables trips to visit Cannes, Antibes and Nice, to name but three easily accessible towns. Anyone who books this property should have absolutely no doubts that it will add greatly to their entire holiday experience in this lovely part of the world.

Fantastic villa everything it describes and much much more, We were a family of eight 4 children and 4 adults we love the pool the terrace with the BBQ and the space the gardens are beautiful and the smells from some of the plants amazing, I would definitely recommend this villa and hope to return one day

Best overseas holiday ever

Thank you Brianne and Marian for your warm welcome and attentiveness throughout our stay in the villa. The villa was spacious having four large double bedrooms and another separate den area with en suite and sleeping three . Great for kids. I loved having the bedrooms opening onto the pool area. The pool was great and HEATED which was a luxury for us. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed for preparing meals etc. We ate mostly on the large terrace with magnificent views over the Côte d'Azur.. The gardens were beautifully kept and it was lovely to be able to pick a lemon off one of your many trees. The area was lovely. I loved driving around the windy twisty roads up to the villa from the coast. We particularly liked the local village of Valbonne. The market was great. Most days we explored the area, so many different medieval villages to see and of course the coast. Spent a lovely lunch and afternoon in Cap D'Antibe. The water was beautiful. Once again thank you for such a lovely stay. Would recommend to all.

The villa caters for our families requirements for a great holiday, it provides the quiet seclusion on the residential hillside looking down onto the Med, and comes with all the things you need to relax. However, it is close enough to the 'thrum' of the Antibes, Nice & Cannes for entertainment. Marion and Briane are next door and available for help and information as required, which is lovely and are never intrusive. Great stay....

We returned to villa Gezanne for the second year running as we loved it so much last year! It is spacious villa -well equipped and furnished - set in beautiful surroundings. The bedrooms and living areas are well presented and the swimming pool is great! The owners live on site and are extremely welcoming-not at all intrusive but available for advice on the local area. The location is good for visiting various areas-Cannes, Nice, Monaco etc and the villages and towns nearby. I would definitely recommend this villa for a perfectly relaxed holiday. We were most certainly return!

We have just returned from three glorious weeks at Villa Gezanne. The house is so family friendly and in such a stunning position . The gardens are delightful and the pool area is perfect for sunbathing ( loads of comfy loungers )- our family appreciated the bedrooms that opened directly onto the pool area and would often take advantage of slipping inside for a lie down and quite read ! The pool itself is lovely and is constantly being cleaned and monitored - it provided hours and hours of fun for the young ones !! We were quite large family group but the Villa afforded us all the space and comfort we could want -plenty of room to chill out! Sitting on the terrace in the evening looking out over the beautifully lit gardens to the moonlit sea and lights from the coast will provide memories to warm dark winter nights at home ! Briane who looks after the property was superb both through the booking process , answering preholiday queries and giving us such a warm welcome . She was there when we needed her but otherwise was totally unobtrusive . We have stayed in the Valbonne area each summer for the past 10 years and many of the group felt we couldn't match our previous happy experiences- but I have to say that- to a man we all fell under the spell of Villa Gezanne. We love the friendly local shops and easy access to both Biot and Valbonne . We really hope to return next year E&G. Northern Ireland

The property was even lovelier than described. It is a spacious and well designed villa, built on a hillside with one storey at the front view and two at the rear. Bedrooms are on the lower floor and are well protected from the heat of summer - we have previously stayed in August. The gardens are beautifully designed and are good for strolling around with an early evening drink, or for settling in a shady spot for a quiet hour with the holiday reading. The managers of the property, Briane and her charming mother Marian, are English, and have lived in the region for a good number of years. They are on the site in a separate building so are there for guests if help is required. They are very wonderfully helpful and informal and you will just relax and enjoy yourself here. The pool is just outside the rear of the house and is well maintained with plenty of lounging space for guests. Above it is a generous terrace for dining or lounging under a sheltering. canopy. The area is well situated, between the lovely villages of Biot and Valbonne and within easy reach of the charm of Antibes (very good beaches to be enjoyed here) and the wider French Riviera. Inland offers a wide choice of hill villages and spectacular Alpine scenery plus attractions such as museums and galleries dedicated to artists such as Renoir, Picasso, Chagalle and Leger. We had a lovely time staying for a week at the villa. It was very easy to arrange, and our hosts were very kind, welcoming and helpful. We would love to visit again.

We had a fantastic 2 weeks at Villa Gezanne. Our hosts Marian and Briane looked after us and made sure we settled in. House has plenty of space, good cooking facility great out door eating area overlooking the valley. Supermarket a short distance away and only a short drive to the villages of Valbonne and Biot. We will be back.

Upon arrival at the majestic Villa Gezanne we were immediately greeted by the friendly and welcoming hosts Briane and Marian - it took no time at all to feel at home and every detail was well thought of prior to our arrival. The level of comfort and amenities was perfect with everything provided for a 10 day sojourn. There is ample space inside and outside in the lovely gardens for 4 couples to enjoy in absolute peace and splendour - the pool and gardens are definitely the pièce de résistance of this remarkable villa. We ventured to nearby charming villages and on to Cannes and Monte Carlo but always longed to get back to our oasis Villa Gezanne at the end of the day. We would highly recommend Villa Gezanne to family and friends and are already planning our return in a couple of years

Our family had a dream come true week in Briane and Marian's home. The house was in perfect condition, comfortable beds, luxurious bathrooms, exquisite gardens, magnificent views, and a heated pool. We had picnics and play time in the gardens with our children and cooked fresh food in the lovely kitchen. Briane and Marian both helpful and respectful of our family time. We only saw them when we had question. They gave us great suggestions and have a lovely family. They are also pleasant and easy to work with. Biot has both charm and history and is located very central to many desirable towns. It is also close to the water! It was the perfect week. We plan to return as soon as possible!

We have just returned from 2 weeks in Gezanne. A wonderful villa in a wonderful location. We enjoyed the warm pool and beautiful garden and were very well looked after by Marian and Briane. As we enjoy cooking, we liked the large well equipped kitchen and nearby terrace for eating. A most enjoyable and relaxing holiday.
