About this cottage rental
'Delta Oaks' is a perfect place for a relaxing stay or a fun filled water adventure on Bayou Lacombe. It is located one block away from the award winning St. Tammany Trace; a bike, walking and horse trail linking Lacombe to Fountainbleau State Park and the rest of St. Tammany parish. Also, close to kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing on Bayou Lacombe.
'Delta Oaks' is a quaint cottage that is clean and freshly decorated. It is nestled among many oak trees on a corner lot in a sought out, safe area of Bayou Lacombe. It is approximately 1600 square feet with front and back porches. The master bedroom and bath are located on the first floor. Two bedrooms are upstairs with a shared bath.
Lacombe is the home of several delicious restaurants, Sal and Judy's is a favorite for many locals. It is just a few minutes drive from the house. Our local Mexican restaurant, Navarro's, is a bike ride away. Janie Browns, is also a great place that is a close drive away.
If biking is your thing the award winning St. Tammany Trace is one block away. There is a local business, Bayou Adventure, that rents bikes.The cottage has a view of Bayou Lacombe. Bayou Lacombe is a beautiful, peaceful, deep, waterway that connects to Lake Pontchartrain. Bayou Adventure also rents paddle boards and kayaks for your convenience.
'Delta Oaks' is centrally located. It is just 45 minutes from the French Quarter in New Orleans. A few minutes drive to the Abita Springs Opry House. Pontchartrain Vineyards, that hosts "Jazz in the Vines" is a pleasant ride away. The Mississippi Gulf Coast is 40 minutes in the opposite direction.
'Delta Oaks' is a free standing cottage on an acre lot with magnificent oaks. It has a lovely back porch for enjoying breakfast with a view of Bayou Lacombe. The front porch is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine before heading to one of several local restaurants.
The cottage is located next door to the owners home. We are available as much or as little as needed. We enjoy meeting our guests but understand your need for privacy as well.

This property is absolutely beautiful and the house is lovely, well-appointed, clean and comfortable. The porches may be the best part! The owners were very communicative, friendly and helpful. I would definitely love to visit again. We wanted a three-day weekend escape and this turned out to be the perfect property for us.

Awesome R&R girls weekend getaway. Beautiful home situated on luscious landscapes with beautiful aged, moss-laden oaks right off Bayou Lacombe. St. Tammany Trace is conveniently located only one block away. Kayaking availabilities, both on Bayou Lacombe and nearby Cane Bayou. An awesome weekend at an awesome B&B located in a beautiful quiet area. Fine Italian Dining at Sal & Judy’s - an extra total bonus. Owners were a delight to visit with.

Gorgeous home nestled in Louisiana’s bayou. We were walking distance from the Tammey bike trail and minutes away from good restaurants. Quiet and perfect in every way.
