The living room looks out over the bayou. The master bath has a huge soaking tub, twin vanities, a toilet, and a bidet. The second bath has shower/tub, vanity and toilet.
This unit is located up two flights of stairs on the top floor. The local train station is a block away.

I could nitpick with a few upkeep issues, but i won't. The deck with a view and the tub are what sold us on the property and they didn't disappoint, but we didn't enjoy the sunsets that are portrayed in the pictures. The negative for the location is the proximity to downtown NOLA. We stayed four nights and made five trips to downtown and it is a 30 minute drive each way, ut traffic was only an issue once. Overall very happy and thank you for letting us stay...

This was a great place to stay if you don't mind stairs. We enjoyed it, beds were verycomfortable. A couple things to remember there was no laundry detergent or dryer sheets & there was no nobs or handles on the cupboards which mad it very difficult to open any drawers or cupboards in the kitchen...we thought this was strange. We really liked the counters in the very large bathroom as we were able to set our suitecases opened up on them & that made them very accessible. It was a little bit of a drive to New Orleans, but we didn't mind that at all. Easy to get to.

Well to start off the weather was great! The description about the train being 1 mile from the condo is true but, what isn’t shared is the train runs by the condo about 30yds away all hours of the day and yep thru the night and as early as 4am! It shakes the entire condo! The property was dated on the outside and penthouse…TBD your in an apartment above 4 other apartments. If you decide to stay here be sure to bring everything you need. We were given 1 trash bag, marginal amounts of had soap and Zero cleaning supplies or laundry soap. I hope the owner appreciated the new full bottles of hand soap left behind. Our adventure was enjoyed but, this just isn’t the place we thought it would be.
PS if I was in a penthouse we wouldn’t have had to climb a ton of stairs when there was a elevator on site but, again no access and the pool was gross! Hence why there isn’t any exterior photos in the listing. To end on a positive note the Palmetto Resturant located adjacent to the condo is a fantastic spot! The food made up for all the unknowns.
