Awan Putih Resort Ubud

Love the location, with all the glass windows around it feels like sleeping directly in the jungle. Quiet, no people around, exactly what we where looking for!

The hotel food was not the best and relatively expensive. Since there are zero restaurants around, the hotel food is the only option. For a short stay no problem though The hotel has a beautiful garden with so many areas and activities. Unfortunately it feels like nobody really takes care of it. Mini golf overgrown, so we couldn't really play. Billiard table and equipment felt quite dirty....

If you want to totally relax, unwind in peace and quiet, beautiful natural surroundings then this place is it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wanted to get away from everything and everyone for some just me time and I got 5 wonderful days of it. I had the daharma suite ( delux villa with jungle view) which was perfect. The room had everything I needed kettle, cups, fridge, they provided water each day, bath and shower, robes, ac, best sofa I have ever had in Bali (a few afternoon naps) and pool just 3 mtrs from my room. If you are wanting more to do than relax there are excursions that are available. Wayan and all the staff are lovely, informative and helpful. Jenni gives a good strong massage

Not a don’t like but more a down side to seclusion 🤗 Menu a bit limited but nice ( I tried everything Indonesian) you have to pre order the night before or a bit ahead, the upside is you can have your food wherever you want to eat by the pool, your room, dinning area. I took in snack foods (yogurt, fruit, chips, nuts, 2in1 coffees, milk and alcohol (they only have Bintang and wine. The shops are a little bit out of the way but it’s a little like glamping make sure you have what you really want and the rest can be sorted 🤗 Must haves- mosquito spray and or coils, you are in the jungle 🦟 Drink’s and some mixers.

Location, amazing views, staff , spa treatments, breakfast and dinner in a beautiful spot, pool, rooms and great balcony.

It was sooooo good

We wanted something a bit secluded- and this was definitely that! Surrounded by jungle, up in the hills with dawn views of Mt Agung (depending on weather) this was a holiday destination for rest and relaxation! We spent 5 nights- mostly the only ones in the resort- and with WhatsApp for ordering meals, felt like we had our own private chef. The infinity pool deck is gorgeous, and we spent many hours swimming, resting, and relaxing with a Bintang. Staff were fantastic, friendly and accommodating, and the grounds were gorgeous. The outdoor games space were fun with pool, mini golf, table tennis (and more) and the spa/massage room was divine - I recommend the mocha body scrub for a real treat! The menu was good for us, catering to most tastes and moods- which was great as there are no other options close by If you want a stay that takes you away from the hustle of Bali, this is a winner!

It is isolated, which took me a little while to get used to, but once I did it was easy to sink into relaxing days. 5 nights was probably a bit long, but definitely felt refreshed after! Even though there’s TV/streaming advertised - there wasn’t a TV in the room, but wi-fi is good and we had a laptop- for the little TV watching we did do - it was actually good not to have one. No cocktails (as noted in the menu) but plenty of Bintang, and we brought some drinks of our own. This is NOT a place to party, but recommend to take snacks and spirits/drinks with you if you want them. There aren’t any shops or restaurants close by (about 45mins+ to Ubud) so not recommended if you love close hand variety and convenience- but so good if you want to fall off the map for a while:)
