About this house rental
The small cozy wooden house is the last in a dead end and borders the nature reserve on the island Älgö. Surrounded by nature and wildlife, the house is very private. In the morning greet the moose and in the evening the setting sun. The 75 sqm house has two bedrooms for 2 persons each. It is possible to put the beds as a double bed or to place them one by one. The beautiful and spacious kitchen offers plenty of space for cozy cooking evenings and the Scandinavian-style dining area invites friends and family to eat. The eventful or relaxing day can ring out on the Swedish veranda or on the spacious terrace with a breathtaking view. The bathroom is completely renovated, bright and spacious. The front small terrace invites you to the coffee drinker - here the morning sun can be enjoyed.
Nice and quiet and a little off is the small sauna sounds with a nice relaxation room.
Nestled in a very natural plot of 2 500 sqm, the house is very quiet and secluded. The beach is only 500 meters and both the beach and numerous bathing jetties invite you to swim.
Despite the tranquility and seclusion, the small elk island is just 20 minutes from Stockholm. By bus and then the Salsjöbanan it is just a stone's throw into the vibrant Scandinavian metropolis.

Cozy house surrounded by nature, yet close to Stockholm city. We stayed there around New Year's Eve and were treated to a beautiful blanket of snow! It was fantastic to cool off in the snow after the sauna and then warm up again by the fireplace. Excellent and fast communication with the landlord and a hassle-free check-in! We definitely recommend a stay!

Th cabin itself is adorable. Nice location, but not too close to the water. Some amenities do not function as well as may be assumed. For example, the door to the sauna does not fully close from the inside. Overall the sauna is very below average. Also, the shower often does not have hot water. This is something to look out for. On the other hand, the fireplace is amazing. The kitchen has everything you could ask for. The terrace is also beautiful - we had a lovely time drinking coffee out there in the morning.

Das Haus mit der schönen Terrasse (...man fühlt sich wie im Baumhaus...), dem kleinen Wintergarten und der gemütlichen Ausstattung - inkl. der Sauna kurz vor der Haustür - bietet die ideale Voraussetzung für einen Urlaub in der Nähe der schwedischen Hautptstadt, die mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (bzw. Wasssertaxi) super zu erreichen ist. Der Strand ist fußläufig zu erreichen und echt nett. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Kurzer Weg hinunter zum Morgenbad im Meer, zurück mit frischen Zimtschnecken zum Frühstück auf der Veranda. Mehr Schweden geht nicht. Kleines, feines Häuschen mitten in der Natur und Stockholm einen Katzensprung entfernt.
