Sonoma Mountain vineyard houe 30 minutes from Napa

Our family had a wonderful experience staying here or attending a friends wedding. Not only is the property beautiful, but the host was so gracious. The house had everything we needed, and we enjoyed walk in the beautiful grounds.

Welcome to the enchanted forest with acres of vineyards. Walking trails with the most breathtaking scenery. House was great for the little ones and adults. Owner even came by and dropped off water guns and water balloons for the kids. House had everything and was missing nothing. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location.

This is an amazing property In an ideal setting. The hosts were extremely accommodating when asked questions. Just a tremendously relaxing stay.

We toured several wineries in the Napa area with our adult children and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing house set in the middle of the owners’ vineyard. Despite pouring rain one day that curtailed our plans, we had a wonderful trip and this property and the owners were a big part. We highly recommend it to any Napa area travelers.

This house and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. We had the most fun and relaxing time. Such a kind and gracious host!

This property is stunning, extremely relaxing, and the perfect escape. We loved walking the property, enjoying the large decks, and cooking in the fabulous kitchen. A small piece of paradise awaits.

We were two couples and three singles, staying in this wonderful spot over four nights, connecting to our son's wedding celebration in Sonoma Valley. The accommodations were quite comfortable in every way. Although for the most part we used the kitchen and outdoor cooking facilities sparsely (mostly for breakfasts, and for snacks), our host did permit us to host an evening dinner in the well-appointed back-deck area, with ample seating and cooking facilities, set amid the redwood trees. The weather was perfect, so when added to the quality of the home the dinner and overall evening were also perfect. I am grateful to the owner for permission to host this family event. The home is set not only amid redwood trees, but also in the middle of the Moaveni Vineyard operation. We sampled several of the wines bottled by the owner, and found them to be excellent. As the Syrah grapes were nearing their harvest-time, the setting became even more picturesque and compelling. Though the home does not have air conditioning, and though most of our days spent there were temperate overall... yet, the first day was quite warm; even so, the home remained pleasant throughout the day and evening, because of its setting in the surrounding redwoods. The balance of shade and sun is wonderful. We no longer have young children, and don't yet have grandchildren, but it's clear the property could accommodate young children quite readily.

Just an amazing stay. Beautiful and relaxing, in the midst of a vineyard. Perfectly set up for a group of friends or extended family. Clean and well stocked. Couldn't have asked for a better time.

We were in town for our oldest son’s wedding. The property was absolutely beautiful! There were many friends and family there for the wedding and everyone thought we had the best rental of the group. The hosts were very helpful with any questions that came up.

We stayed here as a family of ten, ranging from grandparents to grandchildren and everyone loved this place. Beautiful setting, fully stocked and very responsive property manager. We would definitely stay here again.

We brought our group of 5 adults and 3 children plus 2 out of town relatives who slept elsewhere but joined us for dinners. It was the PERFECT place for our family who had not been together since the beginning of Covid to reconnect. Some of us had not seen each other in 2 years. The experience for adults and children alike was near-perfect. Our suburban grandchildren (ages 8 - 11) had the time of their lives without having to be entertained by electronics or adults, and they kept going from dawn until well after dusk. One of the biggest pluses for us adults was being able to relax and let them run, scream and yell with laughter (and they were LOUD), knowing that they weren't bothering a soul. They loved the sports equipment, the battery powered car, the swings, racing down the driveway, taking walks on the property, running down the hills in the vineyard, foosball, the extensive Legos, and especially playing with Milo, the most loving farm dog you could imagine (although he is playful and thought our grandson's bike helmet was a chew toy). We adults enjoyed the serenity and sheer beauty of the property - the vineyards, the redwood trees, the gorgeous hydrangeas, the trails, etc. Our adult kids spent a day wine tasting while the grandkids played with Grammie & Grandpa, and we all spent one day at Safari West, which we all enjoyed, but I think the kids would have been just as happy to have spent the day playing at Moaveni Vineyards. Owner Shawn and his wife Mimi were so kind and just amazing - responsive but not instrusive in the least - and loaned us equipment from their own house if it wasn't already at the vineyard house. We were there during part of a heat wave and Shawn even bought our kids Super Soakers and let us set up an inflatable pool, which the kids totally loved. The house is spacious, with the master bedroom and bath (and the half bath close to the kitchen/dining room) in one wing of the house, and the other 2 bedrooms, full bath, and the kids' playroom/bedroom in the opposite wing of the house, which made for a lot of privacy, especially for us grandparents. The house had plenty of soaps, detergents, foil and wrap, and paper products, which we appreciated. There were also masks, rubbing alcohol, and Clorox wipes available. We would stay at Moaveni vineyards every year if we could. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying every minute. Thank you, Shawn and Mimi!

The large property is beautiful and peaceful, with lots of nice landscaping in addition to all the well-kept grape vines. It was fun to rabbits, turkeys, and other small wildlife. The place was a big hit with our kids, who enjoyed the outdoor play structure, bikes and toys in the garage, and big indoor playroom with lots of game and toys. Host Shawn was friendly and responsive. Lots of nice details were attended to in the house making it an easy and comfortable stay.

Lovely, scenic and secluded setting on a vineyard framed by redwood trees, coast live oaks, a colorful flower garden and more. The play options for our grandchildren ages 6, 4 and 1 were so nice. Everyone enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and sounds of delight coming from the children.

This property was by far one of the best homes we stayed. Shawn is an amazing host, he swings by every day to check on Milo(his dog) and peacocks and few other pets close by to this home. Shawn was super accommodative, and a very polite gentle man who maintains and treats his home with utmost care and keeps it super clean. The backyard/bbq grill, the fire-pit, the view, the vineyard, the roses, bunnies, deer, peacocks, Milo are all going to live down our memory lane forever. This home is located on a huge 26 acre vineyard which makes it perfect getaway and guarantees maximum privacy. Shawn has thought about kids who are to visit and loaded the home with toys/ bicycle/ electric cars/ basketball/ swings / slides / books and many more fun stuff. There are rarely few hosts we see who go to this length to make others stay this pleasant. We had a wonderful time here and looking forward to rebook this home in the future as our yearly getaway.

The property was absolutely gorgeous, exploring the grounds was so enjoyable in the early morning. It was close to everything we needed but still but once you arrive you instantly relaxed. We will be back!

This was our first trip out of the city since COVID and we are so thankful we found this place! We had the time of our lives. The plan was to go explore Sonoma a bit while we were there but the property is so amazing, so tranquil and so kid-friendly that we stayed there most of the time and loved every minute! We had a great stay at this beautiful property. The house is spacious and clean, with a well-stocked kitchen, huge play room, lots of games and books for the kids. Our city kids were delighted with the vineyards, rolling hills, towering redwoods, lemon and orange trees, playground swings and lots of territory to explore outdoors. The owner Shawn is a perfect host---professional, responsive and caring. We look forward to staying again.

The property setting is idyllic for our family Thanksgiving. Set below the vineyard, the house is nestled beside a stand of redwoods and an adjacent stream. The large deck sits among the redwoods with direct access to the large family room with fireplace. A large playing field area gives plenty of room for kids and adults to toss a football or kick a soccer ball. The house is fully equipped, and the dining room easily accommodated 11 for dinner. There’s a large play room with a very diverse set of games and puzzles for all ages. The ping pong table in the garage is a good one. Access to Sonoma wineries was quick, and nearby Jack London’s park made for good family walks. The owner made us feel very welcome. We highly recommend.

Our family of 10 enjoyed every moment of our 6 days on this beautiful property. It had everything we needed and more. We actually felt pampered! The house is beautiful, well maintained, and stocked with everything we needed. We hiked the Vinyard and surrounding areas, enjoying spectacular views and interesting wildlife. Enjoyed our coffee and breakfast on the kitchen deck, dinners on the back patio (heaters and fire pits on each). The location was private but convenient to every place we wanted to visit. The owner, his family and farm workers were very friendly and willing to answer any questions we had about winemaking. We would love to stay here again

7 adults, 3 children (2 - 6yr olds and 1- 4yr old). We have used Homeaway on several vacations and this property along with the owner rates very high on our list. There was everything we could ask for, from toys for the kids (motorized cars, basketball hoop and balls, playground, etc.) to the outside adult entertainment (fire pits, bluetooth speakers, etc). We would love to come back. Mr. Moaveni was hospitable, friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. This is a winner.

This home is lovely, the property is stunning, and it is perfect for a family trip! My family and I stayed here in early August. We had a group of 9 ranging in ages from 1 to 71. There was something for everyone to enjoy. We had three kids with us, and they had a blast with all of the entertainment for them provided at the house: bikes, the playground, LEGOs, kites, ping pong, and just exploring the property. Having coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings while taking in the breathtaking surroundings was relaxing and fun for our family. Shawn was an excellent host. He shared farm-fresh eggs and gave the kids a tour of the on-site aviary, which they loved. The home was very well maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We look forward to staying here again in the future. I can’t say enough positive things about this property!

This secluded vineyard home brings comfort, relaxation and a breath of fresh air. The kitchen has all amenities needed for cooking the grill is a plus. The property is private therefore your in your own little world enjoying the outdoors, redwood trees, vineyards, and the creek that runs by the house. My family loved it so, much we grilled every morning and evening didn’t have any meals away from home. Highly recommended this gem would love to come back. Thank you. Shawn

Beautiful, quiet and serene property. Adults and children enjoyed every minute. Grapes, redwoods, flowing stream by back patio, chaise lounge hung on the adult swing, wonderful landscaping especially the hydrangeas and roses, wild turkeys, bikes and games for kids, interesting architecture and stonework, sunset walks up to the vineyard high ground. Six days flew by.
