Twilight Breeze Lodge

Good value for money. Simple room with kettle &fridge, tidy and clean. Definitely a little jaded. Didn’t shower, but hot water from the tap. Experienced presumed load shedding in the evening- no communication about this- but they ran the generator from 6-9pm which was plenty for us. Had pleasant guy on the gate/security all night Only 1/2hr from start of hike we wanted to do. Lovely maintained gardens

Communication-it wasn’t bad, but around load sharing, wifi, ??other kitchen that other reviews mention it would have been helpful. ( and a teeny bit more friendly). This is very affordable accommodation, so appropriately it’s not 5 star.

Beautiful

Good location

Good location option when going for Sentinel Peak hike

One of my towels was not washed

Convenient location to get to the start of the Tugela falls trail (35 mins drive) as little other accomodation is available near by

The light in the bathroom (and the TV ) didn’t work. We had torches but would have been a problem without these. Power is limited in this area ( non available from 9 pm - 6 am) but the hotel has solar battery power as backup. These things not working were maintenance issues. We were offered an option of two rooms on arriving -didn’t discover the problems until settled in to our room - if staff had know of the lighting issue why didn’t they give us the other room on arrival ( assuming that the lighting was OK there) Just felt like a lack of care/respect for their hotel.
