Onsen Yado Mizuguchi

The location is excellent and the whole village is charming. Our room overlooked the river and was lovely, clean with fluffy futons and comfortable pillows.

This is an inconvenience for most places, check in times are a bit late (16.00) We were able to leave our bags at they ryokan earlier which was great.

We had a wonderful stay at this small, intimate ryokan. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the peaceful atmosphere made it a lovely place to unwind. A traditional Japanese breakfast was brought to us in the dining room within minutes of sitting down—a lovely way to start the day. The bath was small and exceptionally warm, and with so few guest rooms, we were able to enjoy bathing in privacy. As an added bonus, our tattoos were no issue when using the onsen. The owner was kind, responsive, and extremely helpful, making our stay all the more enjoyable. Additionally, the ryokan is located at the heart of the historical part of town, making dining, hiking and site seeing easy. A charming, relaxing place that we would happily recommend!

We did not realize upon booking that bathrooms were shared. Not the fault of the ryokan, simply an error on our part

I loved the location, I was walking around and exploring, the hotel was small as discribed on the website, it was clean, fresh, we had a lovely view to the river from our balcony, the host was very welcoming and attentive. it was such a cute village, everything was so close, the temple was stanning, the nature beautiful. I am very happy that I have made that decision to go there.

I loved everything, little shops, street, bridges, hot spas the highlight for me., I could not get enough. Thank you
