About this house rental
Coconut Caye is a vacation property that is perfect for a large family or a multi family get away! With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms there is room for everyone to spread out for privacy but come together for fun and laughter in the open great room and dining room floor plan... or enjoy your coffee or a sunset on the expansive covered deck with views of the gulf!
The master bedroom has a King bed with a private en-suite. The downstairs guest bedroom has a Queen bed and a guest bathroom with shower and laundry. The upstairs offers guest bedroom #1 with 2- Full Size beds and guest bedroom #2 with a Queen bed + 2- Twin XL's and the 3rd full bathroom.
Everyone can fit around the 10 foot dining table after cooking a delicious meal in the beautiful and fully stocked kitchen!
You can also enjoy some quiet time while the kids relax in their own play space.
We are located just 300 steps from the beach with direct public access at the end of the road. Convenient to restaurants in Mexico Beach and Port St Joe.

This property is great for a family with kids. It is super roomy, and sleeps a lot of people. The outdoor deck was wonderful and I’m sure would be even better in cooler temperatures. The only thing that could make this house better would be to move it 300 feet and put it on the beach. 😊

Would definitely stay here again! Great set up for multiple guests. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of room to spread out. Love the front deck!

We had a great time at the beach. The house was well kept and comfortable. Plenty of room for both adults and kids to stretch out. Kids especially loved the bunks. The beach was clean and never crowded. Not much to do around the area but beautiful Cape Sanblas was just a short drive away. Communication with owner was great.

Overall this was a nice property. We ran into intermittent issues with hot water not working. There was no hot water in the bath tub during our whole stay. We contacted the owner and she was reluctant to get a plumber until I pushed the issue. The plumber arrived and did maintenance and couldn't fix the issue as there was no way to gain access to the area of the property that was needed. All of this took way too much time and coordination on my part with the owner and we had to stay at the home to facilitate this process. This took about half a day. In addition, we ran into an issue on the last day with the washing machine, and going back and forth with the owner when I had already troubleshot this issue was frustrating. Now on to the good. This is a great property that is perfect for kids, the home is clean and very close to the beach. If you have smaller children they cannot just walk without an adult as the highway is busy and people fly on the roads. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but if you book this property you run the risk of managing issues because they don't have a local property manager overseeing this property and issues. While this was a nice property I would not book again unless this issue was changed.
