Casale Santa Fiora, located near the ancient village of Santa Fiora (687 m a.s.l) on the slopes of Mount Amiata, has been transformed into a pleasant and comfortable holiday residence. The renovation work has maintained the structure of the building as it was in the past and the materials used reflect local tradition, such as wooden ceiling beams, terracotta floors, brick arches. This is an ideal choice for those who love the peacefulness of ancient villages and hiking in the outdoors. Mount Amiata rises 1700 m high above the Maremma plain, and its slopes are covered with vast chestnut-tree forests. The entire area is full of natural thermal waters known since ancient times, to name a few, the Terme di Saturnia with its beautiful natural waterfalls and the thermal baths of San Filippo. There are also numerous Etruscan remains in the area. The house is surrounded by a beautiful lawn with a swimming pool (10x5, 1.40 m deep) (31/05-13/09) of the exclusive use of the guests with gazebo, garden furniture and a small pond. The front porch has tables and chairs for outdoor dining. Country- style furniture from the 1900s. The house has central heating and a baby bed. Upon request and to be paid for on location: maid service, a chef, cooking classes. Parking in the property.
PLEASE NOTE: The owner lives in the house next door but does not use the pool, which is of exclusive use of the guests, nor does he use the outdoor areas.

Wir waren eine Gruppe von sieben Personen mit zwei Kinder und uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Toll ist es, dass jeder Raum sein eigenes Badezimmer hat.
Unter der Pergola sitzt es sich mit allen Personen bei jedem Sonnenstand gut und die Pergola haben wir auch zum Essen genutzt. Es gibt ein riesigen Grill den wir sehr gerne genutzt haben.
Die Küche könnte besser ausgestattet sein, erfüllt aber den Zweck. Zudem gibt es zwei Kühlschränke so dass ein großer Einkauf kein Problem ist.
Der Pool ist toll und mit einer tollen Aussicht. Der Garten ist riesig.
Gabriella hat uns herzlich empfangen und konnte uns genügend Tips geben.
Der Ortskern ist 15 Minuten Fußweg entfernt und es lohnt sich auch dort Essen zu gehen.
Wer außerhalb wohnen möchte mitten in der Natur, wird sich dort wohlfühlen.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im Umfeld genug. Der Bäcker (Forno) ist sehr zu empfehlen!

We are 5 cyclists and we were concerned we would have problems shopping and accessing the cycling from this villa. It was not a problem at all! Gabriella graciously drove us up to the coop a number of times and the coop was well stocked and we had no problem finding food for 7 days! (We could have walked it easily too!). Every morning we walked our bikes up to the elevator as a nice 10 minute warm-up and then we were off on our route .. No problems. Pool at the end if the ride was great .. Highly recommend this villa.
