lovely location and a great little place to stay

All nice and clean, the host provided all necessary information and the place was exactly as the pictures show. We were staying due to a wedding close by and it's a nice village location. There's a really nice pub 2minutes walk from the front door.

3 of us had a lovely stay at the cottage. We selected this property as it allowed for 3 separate sleeping areas (one on the sofa bed which is of good quality). It is located in a very quiet village, so we were pleased we had brought some of our own food and supplies as there are no shops. The local pub's kitchen was being refurbished so we drove 3 miles to another pub for a meal, the food was great there. The cottage was immaculately clean and tea/coffee/ milk provided. It was a great stay for a couple of nights, the sofa only sits 2 people comfortably so if we had been there longer, this would have diminished our comfort. But for our purpose, it was pretty perfect.

2 seater sofa for evening together and chatting was a bit limited for the 3 of us.

Fabulous cottage

Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, making it feel like a true home away from home. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the attention to detail in ensuring guests have a comfortable experience was greatly appreciated. On top of that, it offered excellent value, making it the perfect choice for our getaway.

A couple of small additions could have made it even better. It would have been nice to have a radio or a speaker to connect to for a bit of background music. Additionally, an outdoor seating area would have been a lovely touch, though we appreciate that the property isn't ideally suited for this. These are just minor suggestions for an otherwise fantastic stay!

Perfect little get away 🥰

I loved everything about the cottage! It's in a lovely little cul-de-sac. We had a walk around the little village and to the local pub, which served food that was so tasty! And the locals where very friendly, there is also a small park opposite the pub which the kids enjoyed playing on. The cottage is very spacious and well equipped, everything you need is here. We stayed here while we was going to Silverstone for the weekend for the GT championships with it only being a 25min travel to the circuit. I really couldn't recommend it enough, we will definitely be coming back to explore more of the local areas as we fell in love with it from the moment we arrived 🥰

Lovely well equipped and clean cottage. In a lovely location and perfect for a relaxing break. The tea, coffee, milk and biscuits on arrival were very much appreciated. Would highly recommend!!

Nice place for a small weekend getaway.

Very cosy, small bungalow that fit our group well. We visited for a weekend, and found everything as expected. The location was nice, a small parish with a single pub and cafe. Upon arrival, the lockbox was easy to use and get the keys from. We ended up parking on the road outside (as it was easier than going down into the parking area due to the other cars down there), which was still convenient to get access to the entrance of the property. The property was clean throughout, came well equipped, and had a generally nice vibe for the weekend. There was a good selection of board games too, as well as a TV with an HDMI cable for attaching our own devices. Checkout process was also easy, as we were just able to clean up everything, put the keys back, and leave.

Location was outside of my first choice of Everdon, but Badby was easy to get to. Near to Daventry for shopping and the cottage was so comfortable/ well equipped, it more than made up for any disappointment for not staying in Everdon. Thanks so much Would like ton stay again at some point.

Exceeded expectations would recommend to anyone with a small family looking for a fun peaceful stay

The lockbox was the perfect solution for us to access the property. The owner had stocked the property with everything we needed on arrival, toiletries, linen, full kitchen, enough teabags and coffee for a full family get together, plus milk in the fridge which was so welcome. The village where the property is located is beautiful and quintessentially English, take a walk around and pop into the church, the village dates back to before the Domesday book and its easy to make a small donation to the upkeep of the church and surrounds at the entrance to the church, visit the pub for a relaxing cosy evening conversation over a drink. The pub also runs a coffee shop on the weekends which is lovely to stroll to and enjoy a lovely coffee. The property is within easy access of the small market town of Daventry where you can access all conveniences from Tesco, Waitrose, and Aldi parking a car is easy, to a range of restaurants and shops. The country park is a great place to walk around and has a teashop too and facilities.

The ease and layout of the property. Brilliant for a couple with 2 young children. Very cosy and fully equipped with e everything we needed including essentials such as milk, tea and coffee! Very thankful to be able to have a cup of tea on arrival! Location was lovely. Such a lovely quiet area.

A lovely few days in excellent, value for Money accommodation.

The cottage was exceptionally clean and beautifully presented, with everything you could need provided. The owner was extremely helpful in advance of our stay providing recommendations for places to eat and the telephone number of a reliable local taxi firm. Would definitely book again!

Great for long or short stays.

Breakfast was not included but any utensil you might need to make your own was supplied. It was spotlessly clean. The main bedroom had its own bathroom, again spotless. The living room and kitchen area was furnished reality well with everything you could need for any length of stay. Milk in the fridge with plenty of tea and coffee supplied. Nice TV with plenty of games/books to relax. Nice village with a pub nearby. Handy for a nearby great wedding venue we attended.
