Located one mile off Hwy 89, approximately 48 miles South of Jackson, 59 miles to Jackson Airport, 16 miles to Afton & 17 Miles to Alpine. Just three miles to 4 Golf Courses, 16 miles to a 5th Golf Course. Minutes to Fly Fishing and Rafting the Snake River. Grocery Store & Pharmacy two miles away. Horseback riding nearby. Winter sports galore....Skiing in winter at three of the nations' top Ski Mountains. ( Jackson Hole, Snow King & Grand Targhee )Snowmobile and tubing rentals nearby. Most activities are within one hour drive, with the exception of Yellowstone & Grand Tetons National Park, which is approx. 70 miles north of Jackson. Astoria Hot Springs is just 39 miles North at Hoback.

Our stay at the Mountain Loft Lodge was wonderful. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are so soft. There is a very nice shower in the bathroom and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed.

This was a great place to stay for a quiet getaway. But still close enough to the activity.

This loft was clean and welcoming. Thayne is was about 1 hr or more away form Teton's/Jackson - which was the best we could find at the time. Be aware tall people should be careful not to hit light in bathroom and living area, I guess it's about only 6 feet high (luckily we're all shorter than that). The two restaurants that were close by were rather enjoyable considering the rural location of Thayne, WY.
