About this villa rental
Lovely villa situated 100 m from the famous Nerja Caves and Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama Natural Park. 800 m walking distance from a gorgeous village Maro with local sand beaches. Imagine enjoying well deserved holidays by using a large swimming pool, jacuzzi, 5 terraces, BBQ, outside kitchen, WiFi and TV. Furthermore, the villa with a free parking is a perfect base for exploring lovely Andalusia. Few restaurants, a busstop to Nerja and Malaga are situated approximately 100 m from the villa.
Beautiful villa having warm atmosphere and situated close to Maro, a pretty Andalusian coastal village. The indoor space has two levels. On the ground floor you are entering the villa directly into the air-conditioned (heating and cooling) living room with an open modern kitchen. All together 640x520 cm. The kitchen is fully equipped - dishwasher, wash machine, refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave and ceramic plate. The living room has a dinning table for 6 persons, two chest of drawers, two cabinets, four persons' sofa, and a big TV Screen. The TV is the Samsung Serie 8, 102 cm flat Full HD 200 Hz LED TV connected to the internet and having a chrome-cast which allows for stremming directly from your laptop / tablet / smartphone to the TV. Wifi and international television (including BBC1 and BBC2) from Astra 2 and Intelsat 907 (185 channels), and Spanish TV (83 channels) are all available for guests use at no extra charge. Further on the ground floor there are two bedrooms and one bathroom, 220x120 cm, with a shower. In the first bedroom, 340x300 cm, there is a double bed 140x200 cm, a computer desc with a monitor, and a large wall-wardrobe. The second bedroom, 330x270 cm, has two single beds 90x200 and 90x190, and a large wall-wardrobe. A nice and spacious stairs lead to the first floor with lovely master bathroom 240x210 cm and bedroom 380x320 cm. The air-conditioned (heating and cooling) bedroom has a king-sized bed 180x200 cm, two wardrobes and a chest of drawers. Sea and mountain views from the master bedroom are breath-taking.
The outdoor space is even more beautiful. A specious area in front of the villa accommodates four terraces. The first terrace is just in front of the living room - a lovely place for a morning tea / coffee with everyday different sea and mountain views. The second one has a large swimming pool LxWxH1xH2 = 700x400x170x110 cm - a must for the summer heat. The third one has a jacuzzi 215x165 cm (for 3 persons) - for fantastic relax and romantic moments with a sea view. Finally, the fourth one has an outside kitchen, BBQ and a sitting area - a nice place to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. All the terraces are connected by plenty of greenery. In the back of the villa there is another terrace - a patio where one can hide from the direct sunshine.
The whole villa is exclusively for you! However, there are few and well marked places where we keep our personal thinks. Keep them unattached. Finally, the green and the pool require a regular maintenance so it can happen that a gardener will visit you for few hours to do his job. You will be informed few days in advance.
We have a lovely and service minded local host (speaking English and Spanish) living in the neighborhood who will welcome you and be your first point of contact for all matters associated with your stay in our villa. We will disclose details a week before your arrival.
There are direct busses to Nerja and Malaga. The bus stop is 100 m from our villa. On Calle Poniente alongside our house you can park your car at no charge. A toll-free Autovia del Mediterráneo (A7) and N340 are reachable in few minutes.
Smoking in the villa, neither around nor in the swimming pool nor jacuzzi is allowed. Jacuzzi and its terrace is installed in March 2017. The same is valid for the outdoor kitchen with its terrace and seating area.
Maro is a pretty coastal village famous for the Nerja Caves - one of Spain's most popular and important prehistoric sites. The villa is a 150 m from the Nerja Caves. Maro sand beach is located at the foot of the cliffs about 2.2 km from the villa and has a beach bar and kayak rental. Maro is about 45 minute drive from Malaga airport (72 km) and about an hour from Granada airport (94 km).

Merrick is a warm and generous host, easy-going , yet meticulous with regard to this beautiful home. All facilities are as you would like them , with ease of access, and familiar to the guest very quickly.This home is impeccably maintained throughout your stay, and evidently over the years. The swimming pool is a delight, (as is the mini pool table for the little ones)Peaceful, quiet and super relaxing, while only 10 minutes from Nerja in a taxi.We have had a pretty perfect week and could not recommend this place high enough. Great value too- Sincere thanks for a wonderful holiday. Planning our return already.

Stayed with my husband and 16 year old. We loved everything about this villa. It was such a comfortable and well maintained base for our holiday. The space both inside and out was perfect for us and all beautifully clean. There are lots of different places to relax depending on whether you want to be in the sun or shade, along with the lovely pool and hot tub.
Mirek, the owner, lives close by and was on hand to show us round and to explain how things worked. He is very friendly and helpful and easy to contact should you have any questions. He also regularly checked the pool, hot tub and garden to make sure everything was ok.
The Villa is close to the Cuevas de Nerja, from where you can catch either the local Alsa bus or the tourist train into Nerja. Taxis are also easily available and not expensive.
We hope to return again soon.

We had a fantastic holiday! The place was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Mirek, the owner, was brilliant, always available to help via WhatsApp. The pool and jacuzzi were regularly cleaned and topped up early in the morning while we slept. The perfect size for our family of five, with added amenities like a dishwasher and washing machine making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Brilliant stay, property was in excellent order and spotlessly clean. Location is about perfect, but a hire car is a must in my opinion. Mirek the host was always available by WhatsApp if we had any needs/questions and always replied promptly. Would 100% recommend this property.
